I’m a regular commuter on SWR and have found the app handy for checking and tracking trains. I often have more information than the people working at the station.
Getting tickets on the app saves time at the station and reduces wasted paper. The only thing I would change is making it possible to use Apple Pay to buy tickets because it’s a pain having to put in my card details every time I buy a ticket.

Pestered for opinions too soon

I’ve only just downloaded the app, but on pretty much first engagement with it a pop-up appeared asking ‘do you like SWR app? Yes No.’ Press-ganged into answering, I tapped ‘yes’ (perhaps it would stop working if I said ‘no’ and there was no cross or cancel button) then I was pressed for this review...
Now, I suspect this app is just fine. But such is the desperation for App Store ratings that I’ve felt compelled to give an opinion before I’ve really had much experience. Although, at the early off I would say it could have done with reminding me that it had my ticket for today’s travel safely downloaded might have warranted a higher star rating then...
If I get an opportunity I’ll let you all know how I get on in the further adventures of the swr app...!

Good ambition but doesn’t work

Please get each feature actually working before adding more. If I buy tickets in the app I need to be able to access them quickly - on iPhone by adding them to the wallet so I don’t have to find your app then find the right place to tap, all while stood near the ticket barriers with a crowd.

Streaming would be a nice to have. Though only once you’ve got the basics of ticketing working. Advertised as available but doesn’t appear to exist yet and when you try to use it you get stuck in embedded safari browser with no back button so the app I rendered useless until you force quit and restart it. Please test these features and make them actually work before releasing them.
