Description
Southend BC is a mobile app that enables you to report issues to Southend on Sea Borough Council. You can attach photos, videos and any other relevant information to your report and pin point the exact location using your phone’s mapping software.
There are many other features to Southend BC, which allow you to:
- See Councillor details
- Access your council news and events.
- View your submitted reports.
- Use our online service to submit reports using your PC or who Mac.
- Receive notifications either by SMS, push notification or email.
- Receive messages when you pass near a previously reported issue.
- Submit Anonymous reports.
- Search for Council facilities near to your current location.
- Access integrated help.
- Identify the nearest address of an incident using the auto address finder.
You can submit reports for relating to the following categories (this list will be expanded in the future):
- Fly Tipping
- Fly Posting
- Abandoned Vehicles
- Graffiti
- Dog Fouling
- Street Cleaning
- Street Lighting
To submit a report you must submit certain information. Select the category of the report then:
- Complete the questions.
- Capture the evidence, either a photo or video.
- Enter the location.
- Submit the report.

Fantastic
I love this app. It’s such a convenient way to report issues across the city. My reports are usually completed within 48hrs too. A great service from Southend Council.
Wish I never moved here
We moved to leigh on sea not expecting to much , that was an expectation to high . The streets are in disrepair , there are no police monitoring the streets , the shops look like the result of a mass flytippers lucky night , answers from
MPs are non existent , the council staff are by far the fattest and laziest I have ever come across . I have never seen so many alcoholics , drug users and lazy fat tattooed people in all my life . Dirty , early closing expensive restaurants I wish I’d done my homework , needless to say we are selling up soon and moving away as soon as .
Could be good if it consistently worked
When it works this is great. Problem is after almost every update something breaks. Right now, I can’t select my location. I can’t choose values in drop downs. I can’t submit reports. Crazy
