Ratings and Reviews
Reliable even when the Wi-Fi is not
I have been using this app for several years and is the one I turn to when the Wi-Fi is patchy or I get to a new venue and need to know whether there is sufficient broadband or mobile cover to be able to work. Very simple to use and gives a separate Wi-Fi and broadband reading which usually identifies where the difficulty lies.
Works without Problems
Travelling about a fair amount I like to see what the speeds are like. Often it is very depressing news, especially at some AirBnB places. This app runs without issue as long as you have a connection to the interwebs.
Would have upgraded to the Pro version, but it seems expensive at a fiver. Perhaps I am being mean though?
Does what it says ......
I love apps that just do what they are supposed to do. Speedchecker does just that ... checks broadband speed and keeps a history of the speed checks that you have done. If I could then email the results to my broadband provider, I would have scored it 4.5. Ads aren't too intrusive so don't diminish the quality of the service.
