A cold drizzly day outside . Tariff end date looming with one of the Big Six suppliers along with predicted tariff energy increases Had had enough and used this web site which was VERY easy to use to start the process of switching . Your supplier should have printed the necessary end of tariff information on your last bill to allow direct comparisons . Going with BULB which had “glowing” reviews on Trust Pilot . Early days , as the switch will happen over the next few weeks , but almost £ 500 predicted saving is too large to ignore . As I’ve been paying a green energy supplement on my energy bills for the last few years I might as well reap some of the benefit via one of these Green Energy companies .
An app that works!

I can finally accurately track my gas and electricity usage! I’ve been on the standard tariffs with BG since November 2021 and have only ever had trouble monitoring my usage on the smart meter and on their app. For the first time ever, I can see how much I’m spending and when. It’s so much easier to manage my bills now and I don’t need to stress about how my bill is going to be as I can check it on my phone. I wish I had downloaded it sooner!

On a rainy Sunday afternoon...I decided to do some ‘personal admin’. I’ve saved £6.50 a month on my broadband and got a faster bandwidth. I’ve also found a cheaper gas and electricity provider. And when I decided to transfer my mobile phone provider, I was offered a match to stay with EE...who are pretty decent anyway. So yes...take the plunge, make the time, phone a friend, spend your savings wisely 🦉

I think they need some new developers. Urgently. As this is unusable on iPhones. Which is a pretty major issue. The date entry fields are almost impossible to actually get to work. I eventually persevered and managed but plenty haven’t been able to judging by the reviews on here. The bank details screen the keyboard remains seated over the submit button so it’s actually impossible to register bank details. When selecting your energy tariff end date there is no option for no end date. Which is ridiculous. So I hope choosing December 2030 is acceptable although a false declaration.

We're so sorry to hear of the issue you've experienced - we discovered that having your iPhone text size increased above the 'default' size was playing havoc with our date picker dropdowns as well as certain other screens. We've already introduced a fix for the dropdowns but if you're still having trouble we'd recommend you try temporarily resetting your text size to see if that helps. With regards to the end date, if you select a Standard Variable Tariff then the app shouldn't prompt you to enter an end date. If you are on a different tariff that also has no end date then please do let us know at customerservices@uswitch.com so we can update this in our systems.
