Regular updates…hopes for the future

This app is now solid, stable and is always improving. I’d like to thank the developers for their regular updates…nice to see the return of the grid view of album art from the last update (the last feature I missed from the original CA Connect app and implemented better in StreamMagic, worth the wait). I also love the short videos detailing the updates which appear in the app, a nice way of communicating the new features when the new versions of StreamMagic arrives. Really hoping for support to view pdf inlay booklets in the app. It would further improve the app and allow us to see some of the great covers and booklets the artists produced when they released their albums. Thanks again!

Good, but hoping for improvements

I have previously used Stream Magic, Cambridge Connect and am trying this with a 851N.
This works well with MinimServer for classical music, much better for browsing composers. But it would be nice to have the grid view option when browsing composers or bands. And an option to sort by year would be nice when viewing a whole band discography.
It would be useful if the developers tried to reduce the number of clicks to get to a piece of music.
Maybe use the metadata more efficiently, and bookmarks/shortcuts for easier operation.

The structure of your UPnP browsing is defined by the server itself, you may find there are further options in MinimServer that will enable the different sorting or categorisation you're looking for. Still glitchy

Been using my CA streamer for several years now, this app is better than the windows 98 level CA connect but keeps dropping connection, saying no device connected, etc. Very frustrating to use, I quite often end up putting on my old vinyl, at least that never drops connection. I used to have a logitech squeezebox running a 3rd party app which was more stable than this 15 years ago. Just so frustrating because the app is reasonably good when working. Has put me off upgrading to a higher end CA all in one. The great equipment is no good if the app keeps letting you down unfortunately
