Thanks for bringing it back
First of all I would like to say, God bless you for bringing back this classic like you did the others. I just wish you could have added the ‘Back attack button’ like you did SoR2. In retrospect the back attack came in useful for defeating Mona and Lisa (the bosses of stage 5) but doing the back attack by pressing the jump and attack buttons simultaneously is not as easy as it used to be.
Please add Game Gear version
What would be fantastic for the Sega Forever Collection is if there’s a Mega Drive game that has a Game Gear version, the Game Gear version was included with its Mega Drive version, and could be bought as an in app purchase.
Think about it, it makes perfect sense.
E.g. This game could include the Game Gear version of Streets of Rage.
Streets of Rage 2 could include the Game Gear version of Streets of Rage 2.
Sonic 1 could include the Game Gear version of Sonic 1.
Sonic 2 could include the Game Gear version of Sonic 2.
Dynamite Headdy could include the Game Gear version of Dynamite Headdy.
Etc etc.
I remember playing the Streets of Rage 1 and 2 on the Game Gear back in the day, it would be fantastic to relive those moments again.
Then the games that are Game Gear exclusive (such as Sonic Chaos, Sonic Triple Trouble and Sonic Drift Racing) could be released as their own individual apps.
I really hope that Sonic Chaos and Sonic Triple Trouble will be available on the App Store soon, I remember playing them back in the day, it would be fantastic to relive those moments again.
What would be even better is if Sonic Chaos and Sonic Triple Trouble got the Remastered treatment with Knuckles as a Playable Character, Knuckles could use the same sprites from Sonic Triple Trouble.
Keep up the fantastic work!!!!!
Fantastic, works, restored my purchase
Fantastic to see you they updated the game after I bought it a few years back when it was 32 bit. Installed the free version, tapped restore purchases and it remember that I bought it a few years ago. super happy about that and the controls are much better now. A lot of overall improvement from what I can see. Great job Sega :)
