I absolutely love the Sure Petcare app! It’s user-friendly, reliable, and completely & free to use without any annoying ads ! which is such a rarity these days. I use it with my Cat Flap Connect, and it’s been brilliant. One of the best features is that my sister can access the app while I’m on holiday, so she can help keep an eye on my pets. I did have an issue with my hub at one point, but their customer service was fantastic! They quickly identified that my hub was too far away from the router. I solved the problem using an Ethernet over mains cable, and now the connection is flawless again. There’s no subscription fee, and the app does exactly what it’s supposed to. I really don’t understand why people complain about it—highly recommended their connect products and I've got a non connect microchip feeder as well and I'm happy with their products and don't understand why people are so frustrated in their reviews but it's been great for me and think if things are perfect they aren't getting mentioned , therefore I just decided to write this ! :-) x

I have to say this is the worst app and product I’ve ever come across and that say somethingIt’s illegible it doesn’t give you correct data. sometimes it will give you a notification sometimes it won’t repeatedly says the cats gone out when they haven’t no matter what the time of day is it says it’s 3am. None of the data makes sense it’s all completely different. It’s so hard to navigate anything and if you can navigate it, it’s pretty pointless because none of the data is correct.Please, please do not waste your money on this extremely expensive product that doesn’t work and isn’t fit for purpose. The company don’t seem to care of all these negative reviews of how their product is they tell you to email them but they don’t respond. I believe they’re quite happy selling people this absolutely useless expensive rubbish.. and have no intentions whatsoever fixing it and making it fit for purpose once again please do not waste your money. This is an absolutely appalling awful app that does not work and the company doesn’t care and don’t seem to have any conscience to fix it.. it’s so bad I’ll probably class it as a scam product if I could give a minus number, I would. It’s a complete and utter rip-off. once again please do not waste your money on this appalling product. The company have no intention of sort it and a very happy to be ripping everyone off.

UPDATE - I did raise a ticket with Sure Petcare customer support, however this was no use at all despite my following all advice they gave me; I then gave up, as it is obvious they are not genuinely interested in helping me because my Felaqua is out of guarantee - they just want me to buy another one (which I will not do). I am now seriously looking at potential alternatives.I constantly have to log in - this is happening almost daily and is infuriating. There are very frequent inaccuracies with Felaqua notifications - app often does not detect when I have replenished the water supply (resulting in my receiving a ‘water freshness reminder’), or sends out 2 alerts at the same time saying (for example) ‘900ml of water removed’ and ‘Felaqua has been refilled’. Also sometimes receive alert saying an amount of water has been removed from the Felaqua - when my cat has not been near the Felaqua, and the Felaqua has not been moved. If an alternative from another company was available in the U.K., I would use that instead of Sure Petcare products - fairly recently, there was an alternative to the Surefeed Microchip Feeder Connect, which I was contemplating, however that appears to be no longer available in the U.K. (but is still apparently available in the USA), and I would be stuck with Sure Petcare anyway because there does not appear to be any alternative to the Felaqua. I see Sure Petcare are promising there will be a fix for the login issue on about 22 April - but I won’t believe that until it happens. I would also like there to be a dark mode option - but a properly functioning app that actually does what it promises is rather more important.

An amazing find! This was recommended by my vet to help monitor my elderly cat’s health. We were quite surprised by how sophisticated, but easy to use, it is. Even my engineer husband is impressed. No more wondering if the cat drank or spilled the water or which cat. No more thinking of evaporation. Here you can see how much and how often your cat drinks. You have trends and averages. Each cat is monitored separately via its RFID CHIP. Names and Photos aid simple humans. The bonus is that you can continue monitoring remotely. So if you are away, you still know your cat’s consumption. Highly recommend having the device and the hub, if you don’t have one is helpful for longer term monitoring. A reminder to change the water keeps us on track.
