SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect - Stops pet stealing each other’s food. Equipped with an integrated scale, LED portioning guides and compatible with the Sure Petcare App, it helps you provide your cat with a diet that is tailored to their individual needs and enables you to build a detailed record of their feeding habits.
Felaqua Connect - A drinking monitoring solution designed to encourage drinking by delivering water in a cat-friendly way, while taking away the maintenance hassle of cat fountains. It recognises your pets by their unique microchip ID or their Sure Petcare RFID Collar Tag while they’re drinking and builds a record of their water consumption and drinking patterns.
SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap Connect - Allows authorised cats safe, secure access while keeping intruder animals out of your home. Set curfews, remotely lock or unlock and easily check in to see if your cats are home, even when you aren’t.

Not fit for purpose
I want to change the curfew times on the flap but the app won’t let me. It says the curfew times cannot overlap but they don’t. I’m setting 19:30 - 04:30 and 11:00 - 15:30. I’ve done some testing around this and you cannot set an overnight curfew and a day curfew. A single curfew that spans midnight is fine, but then you cannot set any other curfew.
I’m working around this by setting the curfew to three times instead: 19:30 - 23:59, 00:00 - 04:30, 11:00-15:30. But technically that unlocks the cat flap for 1 minute in the middle of the night and that is unacceptable. If my cat goes out at night, I deem the product unfit for purpose.
The second issue is that for one cat I can see his hours spent outside and when he entered and exited just fine. But for our second cat, his stats always show he’s been outside 24 hours per day every day and no entry times are shown. I know the correct data is being recorded because the web app, which uses the old app interface, shows the correct data.
I’m amazed that these issues have slipped through testing. I write mobile apps for a living and these are such big flaws that it’s hard to find them acceptable. If this is the new standard for SurePet then I will have to look elsewhere for our cats because the products cost too much to receive the same quality as some no name brand from China.
Terrible update- wish I could revert to old app
What kind of update gives you *less* information about your cats than you had before? And is *less user-friendly* and *hides information* behind extra barriers in the form of extra windows and buttons to click through? (E.g. to find what curfew times are set?)
Well, unbelievably this one does!!!
If I had the option to give *zero stars* I would. I don’t give a cat’s derrière about the new graphics - that’s the only thing that is really new in this version of the app. I want to be able to see the data on when my cats come in and out during the day like I used to be able to. And to get this in an exportable format like I could before. Not to find I can get none of this anymore and can instead only get data on how long they were out for: I want to know *when* exactly they went out and came in!! It was available before, and it really shouldn’t be too much to ask for it to be available still!!!
Really poor and unacceptable from SureFlap to launch such a shoddy *downgrade* of their app!!
Give us the option to revert to the previous version that was actually useful and user-friendly!!!

Unreliable slow and confusing
They’ve updated it and it’s newer looking but deep down This is like an app from years ago . Slow response to user input , cryptic messages that relate to a choice you made ten seconds ago on another screen, and a seemingly random indication of whether the hub and flap are connected - and nothing you can do to fix that connection. I don’t trust the app at all and sadly that makes you distrust the curfew mode, but there is no way to check curfew mode is working unless you happen to be awake during curfew with a cat you try to post through the catflap. The company are great at hardware fixes and spares but this app has just told me the cat sat on my lap has just entered the catflap…
New version of software : lock option is constantly spinning so I can’t unlock the flap
