Survivors: the Quest 4+

Stranded on a desert island after a plane crash, you have to find a way to survive, figure out what the strange goings on the island are, and find away home... striking similarities to a certain tv show!

I downloaded Survivors earlier today and so far am enjoying the game thoroughly. Each action doesn’t take very long to complete and as you can control multiple characters you are rarely left with nothing to do.

The only downside I can think of is that occasionally when collective items for a quest the specific item you need isn’t generated and once your inventory is full, you can’t collect the unneeded items so the needed items will not spawn.

🤨😡😡So I haven’t played this game for over 1 yr and recently decided to give it a go again and this is what I’ve found. Love the update on the puzzles but by heck they are so difficult it’s so frustrating 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤and after playing over 100 tries to beat a puzzle and still didn’t complete it😫😠😤😖😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 so, I’ve now decided to give up on it totally. I know they have purposely made them difficult so that you pay to play but “DONT” it really isn’t worth it just play candy crush or one of them games as you get rewards to help you along and enjoyable too. Unfortunately you may want to sign yourself in for therapy and no game ain’t worth that..... Seriously this could be a great game but every time you achieve a goal you have to complete a mammoth of puzzles up to 5 in some cases to finish what you’ve achieved it’s crazy and awful that any developer would want to mentally stress people out got playing their games and these clearly do...... Game playing is supposed to be fun as well as challenging but they have made it stressful and frustrating and impossible instead....

Loving this game 🤔 but it's such a shame about the challenges/puzzles you have complete to complete a task. The puzzles 😤😤😤are too many should only be one and this puts people off the game as it ruins the fun of a platform game. It's such a shame 😬

Firstly, graphically very good, concept good (blatantly stolen from Lost!). Tasks are engaging. Now the not so good: the time taken to gather items is ballachingly tedious. Coconuts off the tree 1 at a time?? Spawn rates for stones and lianas ( you need a LOT!) are too slow, this drags out each task interminably. It also drains your characters wellbeing, so you invariably have to gather and prepare food as well as attend to their other needs In the mean time. Which brings me to the mini games, once you’ve managed to gather all the required items for a task, you are required to complete 2 or 3 “connect 3 gems” games, these get very tricky (and very tedious) very quickly. These become so hard that you are forced to use gems to complete them. Gems are expensive! I realise they have to make a buck but wow! What is more, you are virtually forced to pay if you want to progress. This mounts up astonishingly quickly! Each time you want to feed the characters, you have to complete the mini game, even if you’ve used the recipe before. In summary, if you’ve got plenty of spare cash, and you don’t mind spending it, you have the patience of the Buddha, and you like connect three gem games, then this is the game for you. If like me you possess none of these attributes, give it a miss. It’s a shame, it had the makings of a good game.
