Swift Command 2019 is the next generation of the app to work with The Swift Group range of caravans and motorhomes. The app is now compatible with 2017 & 2018 vehicles as well as some Swift Command equipped 2016 vehicles, and therefore replaces the original ‘Swift Command’ app.
The app is split into 4 sections as follows;
The control panel section is used when inside your vehicle and includes control of lighting, 12V and 230V power, water tank levels & pumps, Truma, Alde or Whale heating systems, the radio in caravans (when compatible radio fitted), the refrigerator, optional air-conditioning and the Al-Ko ATC in caravans when fitted.
The remote features section of the app allows you to use a selection of feature when away from your vehicle. These include vehicle location, remote system levels, historical data and dealer information.
You can also remotely control the heating system, awning light and main 12V power when away from your vehicle.
The information section provides quick links to useful information and documentation like the app user guide and vehicle owners handbook.
The settings section provides a simple way to link to your Swift Command account to enable the remote connection features. Here you can also set system alerts to alert you to certain events (like low battery voltage, alarm system trigger or frost warning) via SMS text message or email.
For more information about the app please visit www.swiftcommand.co.uk or after installation please refer to the app user guide in the help & information section.

Prefer the older version
New app (this one) doesn’t display properly on iPhone XR. Can only control one set of interior lights (old app has both sets) heating controls still very confusing, when you override it on the app it should change the settings on the heating panel (Truma). Maybe focusing on the older version and improving that would be better than making a new one.
Swift Command 2019
Like the previous note, I too have an iPhone 10 and have exactly the same issues. Until yesterday I was using an iPhone 6 and had a real problem getting it to pair with unit and to get remote access. Frankly it’s not acceptable. The unit covers all the security features and not to have access to them because of inherent compatibility issues is not what you expect from an expensive motor home. The dealer is similarly frustrated having to deal with customers with similar issues. It’s time to take a good hard look at the software and sort it out. Postings like this are not good for future business.
Very poor effort
I’m amazed how people this works on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. The app is stuck permanently in landscape mode and appears to just be using a web view to embed the Swift Command website in an app - I’d rather they just told you to use the website (which incidentally works better on the iPhone than the app).
Please either improve the app, or the website, as this isn’t what I expected when I was told I would be able to remotely access features of our Motorhome - I haven’t actually be able to do that yet.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
