The Basic version of MeisterTask is free. You can try the Pro Plan free once for two weeks after signing up. If you enjoy your Pro trial, do nothing, and your membership will automatically continue as an auto-renewing month-to-month subscription. You can cancel anytime via the app store.
If you subscribe via the App Store:
Payment will be charged to your App Store Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan above.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user, and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings on the device.
If you haven’t subscribed through the App Store, you can manage your subscription through MeisterTask.

I really like this app. The interface is easy yet rich in useful features. The design fits the way I work without imposing any significant restrictions. I can use the lists in different ways and settle on one that works for me in practice. Love the way I can tailor it - change headings, icons, upload my own icons with ease - I just love using this app and it really is a game changer for me. I can relax knowing I have it all organised!
Update
1. When adding automations, an option to add to all projects would save loads of time and make it practical to globally edit them.
2. Scheduling limited to the project you are viewing does not make much sense if, like most users I suspect, you are running several projects simultaneously. Definitely not worth the huge hike in price for the ‘upgrade’

Perfect, except....
This is a beautifully designed, practical and flexible task manager. It makes you feel calm and in control just by looking at it! It is the simplest, yet most efficient kanban method, which can be built to incorporate GTD or any other organisational system you may use.
The dealbreaker is that you can not schedule a task. Who has ever heard of a task manager that cannot schedule your tasks into your day?? You can get a timeline if you are willing to subscribe to the most expensive business plan, but even if you’re paying for Pro, no scheduling for you. What is the point of calendar integration if the best it can do is a half an hr slot in your calendar at the time the task is due? Even with IFTTT integration it is impossible. Planning time to actually DO the task before it’s due still has to be done manually in your daily schedule.... which kind of defeats the point. Sad, because it ticks every other box, but is not going to work for me :(

Hi efficiency pixie, we appreciate the feedback. You can integrate MeisterTask with Google Calendar or iCalendar which then schedules the task into your day (for a specific selected time). You can as well add due dates to task in MeisterTask, and as long as you're assigned to these tasks, they will be displayed on your dashboard in "My Tasks".
Perfect tool
Used Trello and other for a while but always met the shortcomings very quickly. This app is created as if I’d designed it myself. Intuitive to use but also has depth. So good I’ve ditched almost all of my other methods for time management and begging to use it for more and more thus allowing me, for the first time ever, to have one place for everything. I’d rather it were cheaper but I guess you get what you pay for and theres a free version with slightly less features. Why did it take me so long to find it.
