Technics Audio Center 4+

Well firstly these speakers are awesome sound is amazing I have got the bug I purchased two to get stereo and it’s very good love the app

Now for improvements You need to have the ability to change the volume on one speaker and it changes the other speaker if it’s twined

The app sometimes dose not recognise the speakers which is a bit annoying please fix this also you cannot switch the speaker of by voice again please add this then I will update my review

Do I recommend this speaker hell yer if you want a really good looking speaker and great sound

The app works but it takes a long time to parse the data from the unit for things like favourites or just navigation through song searches. It’s not the best app and shame you can’t disable or remove inputs your not using from the list I. The app and when scrolling through inputs on the remote. Also can’t understand why when using tidle that it won’t select higher bitrate songs than 44khz 16bit despite having hires subscription and airplay quality isn’t great

Ottava speaker itself is great little fellow but the app isn’t great at all ,
-there is no option to choose/ change sources from the app
-no option to wake up from standby with app
-airplay very laggy not sure if its to do with my router ( tp-link) or something else but i cant stream via airplay straight after i switch on speaker, in fact its has been 10 minuntes now and airplay option does not show on my phone , i know it will eventually show up but how when i don’t know , sometimes i switch wi-fi on and off on technics and that helps , on the other hand chrome cast works straight away i power up the speaker
- loudness control increments on the app not so fine ( volume jumps not as smooth) as you would change volume on the speaker manually
-radio and podcast does not show up on my technics app as a option so not sure how to use those functions, i read the manual but its still mystery , perhaps not in every country???
