I use music stored on a NAS and this app really is the best I have used, I also have Cambridge audio and Yamaha equipment and while their control apps are ok they are not as good as Linns. I just wish vendors like Linn would incorporate generic UnPN functionality so that you could use one app to control multivendor environments. Can’t afford Linn in every room! About time proprietary environments Were replaced with good generic standards.

The sonic capabilities of Linn audio equipment are superb. They should be because most Linn audio systems are more expensive than cars. Some cost more than people have in life savings. It's the UI/control software that lets the whole side down. What good is it having such a capable system if you can't control it? This app is an embarrassment. I have a Linn DS player in the kitchen and one in the living room. Let's imagine I'm listening in the Living Room. I leave it playing and I move to the kitchen. I want to play something in the kitchen so I select the Kitchen. The pins change to Kitchen Pins. When I tap on a pin, it changes in the Living Room. And vice versa. This is unacceptable. The whole app control team need to be turfed out on their ear. They've been releasing this sort of garbage for a decade and it gets worse every time. What a shambles. The only way to control your expensive Linn system is to use a control app made by a 3rd party. Anyone so long as it isn't Linn.

I’m surprised this app., has secured a rating of 4.6, although I note that it is based on just two reviews. My personal experience is poor and, frankly, I don’t consider it to be a true upgrade from Kazoo, even though it is designed to fulfil a broader function.Since Linn phased out Konfig and combined their system management and streaming controls in this one app., I have had nothing but problems with my system and understand that many others have too.With guidance from my dealer, I have just finished a thorough review of my wiring and, in particular inter-connects, following a system failure around the time of the last Konfig update. Everything proved to be working ok, but still no sound - the app., was locked. So, I deleted it and then downloaded it again. Hey presto, suddenly everything worked. Then later the same evening, the app., was no longer able to contact my NAS drive. I can stream via my Qobuz account, but not the NAS drive, whereas with Kazoo I can do both.Linn are great hi fi engineers, but their software leaves more than a little to be desired!

Generally the Linn app is ideal. It controls Linn steamers very well and provides an easy to use interface to both local music libraries and some streaming services like Qobuz. However, some less frequently used functionality is a little less intuitive - especially dismissing the ‘side’ menus (settings for example) which always takes me some thought.Also could do with album booklet support. At the moment this is the only feature I feel like I’m missing that would improve the enjoyment of my music.
Added troubleshooter to detect common discovery problems.
Added support for recovering a device without clearing settings (on supported devices).
Further improvements to loading speed when using Airable backed services.
Fixed issue where Deezer podcasts would always appear empty.
