Description
Before installing the App, please read the details below as this contains important information about the App.
Connect to Premier 48 - 168, Premier Elite 12 - 640 and Premier International 412 - 832 control panels using your iPhone or iPad.
The App requires a ComIP, ComGSM or Chiron IRIS module connected to a Premier or Premier Elite control panel *
Features include:
Virtual Keypad.
Access your system from the keypad as if you were using a real keypad. Basic Portrait Keypad available on iPhone devices.
Smartkey / Basic Arming
Allows you to arm, part arm, disarm and reset you alarm system. It also allows you to activate up to 3 outputs (control panel dependent) which can be used to control lighting etc. If 'Basic Arming' is enabled, you will be able to activate up to 8 outputs (control panel dependent).
X10 Control
Allows you activate up to 8 X10 devices (control panel dependent) which can be used to control lighting etc.
Event Log.
View the last 25 log events.
Site Profiles.
Add and delete up to 9 pre-defined site profiles.
Start Screen.
Select which screen the App starts on, Menu, Smartkey/Arming, Keypad, Connect To Site or Cameras.
Push and Email Notifications *
Receive information from your panel regarding its status via push notifications or email. Please note that registration for this service is required and the control panel will need to be programmed by your alarm company in order to send push notifications.
IP Cameras
View and record up to 4 IP cameras. Includes PTZ controls.

Converting Existing Accounts
When selecting the 'New Layout' the app will automatically convert your existing accounts to the new format. If for any reason this does not happen, return to the login screen and proceed as follows. Ensure that the User Name and Password fields contain valid login details and then hold your finger down on the screen underneath the Login button until a message appears to let you know that this has been completed.

Can be frustrating
I am an engineer and install these a lot for people.
It's certainly not smooth ride.
Sometimes it works straight away, other times it doesn't.
It can be annoying when you have to explain to the customer if it fails to connect, close it down completely and re open. :-s

Embarrassingly bad
I write software for a living and I would cringe to release something this poor. Once you have managed to get it working (which is tricky due to inaccurate instructions in the manual) you find that the app is clunky, buggy, crashy, and unintuitive. The entire premise of this app is to replicate a cheap keypad with a two line display on a modern smartphone. It is like going back two decades and using my first mobile phone, a Nokia 3210, all over again.. but with much smaller buttons.
I question the security of this app too, given that you are required to punch a hole in your firewall to use it, and there is research online that finds a lack of encryption in the communications. I recommend connecting to this via a VPN rather than punching a hole in your firewall.
The old alarm business is going to be turned on its head by the startups like Nest, Canary, etc. With app offerings like this, it will be sooner rather than later. We can only hope.
The clunkiest app I've ever seen
I've tested beta apps that are further developed than this. It's appalling. I have finally got it half working after 18months. Technical support is miserable - nobody seems to know (or care) how to set it up and the so-called instruction manual is wrong. At least now it doesn't trigger false alarms but my alarm company have been pulling their hair out with this rubbish. I'm now at the point where I can only carry out one action, but then the app breaks connection and it has to be re-launched to carry out further actions. (To put that into context, I can't arm the alarm and then disarm it without quitting the app, closing it down and re-launching it.) This needs massive development by someone who actually knows what s/he is doing.
The AppStore feedback system doesn't allow a 'no star' rating, so I have to give it 1 star - but that's 2 more than it deserves.
