Cannot sign in
I have my member number and PIN but the app asks for member number and password. Is PIN and password the same?
Anyway like some other comments I have read I also cannot sign in to the app even though I can sign in on the website.
Please explain why this problem is happening?

ROP is a mess
The app has certainly improved from the previous, but there are still horrible web wrappers in a few places. Most notably the whole Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) account experience. This area is in serious need of attention, because you are taken to the website, and then login on a form that is completely misaligned, there are two menu buttons, and it generally is a terrible user journey.
I also look forward to the day Thai introduces e-tickets/e-boarding passes that you can save in you device “Wallet”. This has become a very popular feature for me with other airliners because it really simplifies the airport and ticketing experience. This is a much bigger investment to make it happen but please work towards this!
So much better...
The OLD app was terrible, and you're lucky if you never had to use it. Nearly impossible to book a flight, and many customers will have gone to other airlines.
This new app is far better. Thai Airways have actually spent some money on their future, instead of giving their passengers a good reason to go elsewhere.
I like Thai Airways. I even have one of their umbrellas 🌂. A must-have item. But booking a Thai flight used to be a nightmare. This app has changed all that, at last. Now it's a pleasure to buy a ticket. Though it's still too expensive.
4 Stars for now, but only because the app doesn't retain my Orchid login, and the prices are too high.
