Functional but UK Support is limited. App is buggy
The app is ok, it can connect to my F800 Pro but it seems to be riddled with bugs. It constantly disconnects from the camera every time to try to update the safety camera locations and crashes the app. Does the same when trying to update the firmware.
The most annoying feature is that the database (hosted by cyclops) is massively out of date, i’ve been informed that the thinkware side of the database is only downloaded from Cyclops once every 6mths which I think is appalling.
I have the Cyclops app on my phone and the updates are applied almost immediately.
UK support don't seem to know whats going on as the main support team are in Korea. For such an amazing camera that seems to be at the very top position amongst its competitors, the after sales and technical support is shocking.

Great Q800 pro let down with the app
Just had the Q800 dual camera installed, great camera with lots of options, the problem is the app it’s not user friendly at all, not able to connect to my WiFi in my car, tried to register over the cloud which I couldn’t get to work, then keeps dropping out of the hot spot not reliable, the other options like the geo fencing and push notifications don’t work, so very disappointed not with the camera but the app, please update as nowadays it’s how everyone is getting information online.
Look before buying a Thinkware product.
The f800 pro are a good dash cam , the app is a big let down the geo field will not work in the uk , the was good to view the recording but now the new update has made the app unusable after the last update the app just crashes every time you go in and will not open, the response you get is the same email contact support but are of no help because this app has not worked fully from the first day I downloaded it, make the app as good as the cameras and I would be happy, but if not I wouldn’t buy a Thinkware product again and I would not recommend any one to buy because the app lets it down .
