Parental controls could be easily improved
Router works well. This app is good to, following suggestions for improvement: Parental controls - could really do with better granularity, currently joy have to control timed access in hour long chunks - half hourly would be better or just let users choose times. When blocking devices it would be good to be given the option to block permanently or for a user selectable timed duration. Accessing the router - each time you access the app it has to log into the router, even when the app hasn’t been closed. Not a big issue but would improve user experience if it stayed logged in or at least refreshed in the background while user accessed menus etc
When a device is added to parental controls in the parental control list it retains its original name and does not refresh to the main list of devices (when the names are changed here)- and the name can’t be updated in the parental controls list.
Client icons don’t save when changed
I’m using the Tether app with a AX6600 GX90 and for the most part, it appears to work well with remote management. The only problem I seem to have come across so far, is that if I try to change icons via the App, it just doesn’t save them even when I’ve selected ‘save’ For example, I’ve selected the printer icon several times but the icon just returns to the default icon every time. The App developers don’t seem to respond to any critique on this platform, but I do hope they at least read the reviews so they can look into these issues.
Best Device I’ve Used

I have saw some reviews that seem to send mixed signals. So I have decided to post mine as I know the feeling when buying a new product or service, especially when we don’t understand it.
I have used Sky Boosters, Virgin Boosters, all sorts of Boosters that are available… all of which just led me in the same direction which was that it didn’t end up working.
This product is amazing. You connect it to your broadband, you then create a separate Wi-Fi channel to connect to the device directly and you do this all directly from the app.
As a employee of a national IT firm, working from home… I find this device amazing for connection.
I’ve been reading the reviews, especially the bad ones and it seems that people are trying to use this device for things that it states it doesn’t do. That is not a product or manufacture problem, that is your problem for not doing the correct research.
If you have stumbled across this device and you are reading this review… I urge you buy it.
