New up date not so good.

Please sort the new update out. Everything was perfect till this. Now when you have your music on doing your workout, ever exercise you scroll past, the video starts playing & cuts your music out.
Also not very good if you are doing super sets. On the old one you could click your results in as u do them & then move on to the next workout & then back to the other one. Now if you click of one workout to look at another, you loose your results. All good till then tho. I’d recommend this app once them small glitches are fixed.

Messy design with little thought for user experience

I only recently started using this app to communicate with my coach so don’t have a reference to the previous version which other reviews mention. Needless to say it’s totally unintuitive and clunky to use. Saving workout results is difficult as the screen jumps around and buttons are hidden by the keyboard - hitting out of the page loses any data you’ve inputted. It also doesn’t show you what reps/weight you did previously so it’s hard to quickly check. (Include this on the results page so you don’t have click around so much). The videos don’t need to be visible all the time - they should be smaller and available if required but take up most the screen. It’s just not well designed to be used during a workout - I want to spend minimal time on my phone in the gym. One page with a list of reps/weights/previous results and a timer and hide the extra info away for when I need it.

I find it much easier to use the ‘Strong’ app to record all my results quickly and just copy the text output over after I’ve finished.

The coach end of this app looks amazing on the desktop - why not give the user the same quality experience?

Trainerize is Better

Not really sure how this app has such good reviews to be honest. The timer is glitchy and only alerts you 75% of the time when you’re not in the app, you can’t move scheduled workouts around to fit your calendar or energy levels. You have to manually enter all your data - unlike in trainerize where you enter the weight lifted / reps, you have to just chuck it into an open text field. There’s no in set timers, meaning you have to save your info, go back to the main screen and type in however long you want as a break or interval. It’s not clear when exercises are grouped together in super sets either, and you have to click in and out and in and out to update details. Coaches - AVOID.
