Unable to see title of song being played

App works well apart from the fact that I can’t see the current song being played on all Internet radio stations. When I change to a station it shows the current tune being played but when it goes on to the next song the text doesn’t change.
This is so frustrating as I need to know the title of the current song I’m listening to. They show up on my actual radio screen but I’m too far away from the radio to be able to read them.
Is there anything I can do to try and rectify this please?
I have a John Lewis Tenor radio and I control the UNDOK app from my iPad.
Your help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Unfortunately this behaviour is due to a bug with the radio software rather than UNDOK. We have fixed this but you will need to raise the issue with John Lewis as they need to request updated software from us.

Now needs location services on to work!!

I have been using this app with Roberts Stream 93i for several years now and it has been very good! Until I install ios13 on my iPhone 7 - now it reports that there is no wifi connection even though there is! To get round this I have discovered that you must have location services enabled on the iPhone and allow the UNDOK app to use it. It then works as it always has. If you turn off location services again it goes straight back to reporting there is no wifi connection!!

I do not like having location services enabled on my phone by default as it uses too much battery and I do not have need for it. Also, I do not understand why UNDOK needs to know your location - this is a breach of personal security!!!

I am now back to using the remote control that came with the radio until this ‘problem’ is fixed!!!

Hi, Since iOS13 location services must be enabled so that UNDOK can get access to your Wi-Fi network information. Without this information UNDOK will not be able to connect to your network and discover radios. This is why location services must always be enabled. UNDOK does not need location information for any other reason and does not record anything about your location. UNDOK Support

Allows me to control my Roberts DAB Radio…

… over my LAN/wifi at home, by my iPhone, which at the time of writing makes it unique. I had been searching for an app that did this for several years since receiving the radio as a birthday gift. I am happy with it. I haven’t put it through its paces and so can’t comment in much detail but it allows me to select input sources, DAB channels, the volume and the radio on and off remotely and gives access to the status and settings of the radio more so than the devices’s onboard menus seem to. It’s worked reliably ever since I managed to set it up, which required no special software skills and was an intuitive and straightforward process: firstly connecting the radio to my LAN and then the app found it when it scanned the network for devices. One click and it was configured. Thank you for making this app available; much appreciated.
