Our app is a work in progress. There are plenty of features to get you started and plenty more to come.

Check your account on the move   
- Biometric login for added security.   
- See the full details, including balance, of your Stocks and Shares ISA, Personal Pension (SIPP), General Account and Junior ISA. 
  
Buy or sell funds   
- Available for your Stocks and Shares ISA, Personal Pension (SIPP), General Account and Junior ISA. (No live ETF trading just yet.)   

Set up a monthly payment  
- Available for your Stocks and Shares ISA, Personal Pension (SIPP), General Account and Junior ISA.   

See your transactions   
- Check your buy and sell orders.  

Invest again in a fund    
- Top up your Stocks and Shares ISA, Personal Pension (SIPP), General Account and Junior ISA.

Finally an app!

I’m so happy Vanguard have an app now, so much easier to check my performance and balances.

One feature I’d love added to both the app and the website is instead of the overall account gain section (where it says how much money you’ve gained/loss since opening the account) we have a month by month performance so I can see each month how much I’ve gained in leaving money in my investments. It would be nice to have this under the total amount. - Alternatively, a 3 month figure would also be handy, just not just a total amount.

I ask this cause sometimes I need to take money out and I put more in later, so it’s hard to assess my performance now vs at the beginning of the year, ect…

Good first attempt

Good to see Vanguard finally release an app. A few suggestions 1) Dark mode option please as viewing this in the dark is very harsh on the eyes 2) Make the account ‘cards’ on the summary screen smaller, if you have a few accounts you have to scroll down to see everything. 3) overall portfolio return % on the summary screen would be useful rather than just a £ return

Great experience but room for improvement!!

I've been a loyal Vanguard user for a year now and have generally loved my experience. However, I’ve noticed that the process of depositing funds, selecting investments, and executing trades takes significantly longer compared to other brokerage platforms. While some websites allow me to complete these steps in just minutes, Vanguard often requires several days to finalise the process.

I appreciate the quality service Vanguard provides, but a more streamlined and efficient transaction system would greatly enhance the overall user experience.

The timeframe for buying funds depends on the type of fund. We offer both mutual funds and ETFs on our service. Trading a mutual fund at the 'next trading point' can take 2-4 working days to complete, as there is a dealing deadline and valuation point to take into account - we also need to wait for confirmation of the trade details.

However, trading ETFs can take significantly less time to complete as they are traded on an exchange. When trading an ETF at the 'next trading point', your order will be executed at our aggregated dealing time of 10:15am or 2:10pm (whichever is next).
