Waitrose & Partners 12+

It's great to be able to use an app to do my shopping at Waitrose (I love Waitrose). I have rated this app with 4 stars, as the app somehow seems difficult and cumbersome; I find myself confused much of the time, having to frequently backclick in order to find my feet and navigate. For example, the search bar is not present on all pages, so you have to backclick in order to find it again.
I propose that certain options (such as searchbar and shopping cart) should remain at the top of each and every page, so they can be easily accessed at all times.
The Homepage has a load of images representing shopping categories, but most people don't shop by category.
Also, one normally finds one's shopping cart at the top right of the page, but on this app, it's along the bottom bar. Similarly, "Checkout" seems like it ought to be at the top right, too, and accessible on all pages.
Habbits and routines make life easier, so when an app does something out of the ordinary, one finds oneself a little confused and disorientated.

Have tried several of the large online shopping stores for my family food shop but non have been quite as good as Waitrose. One or two came very close, others were so disappointing that I vowed not to use again. I like the fact I can get things that are a little different at Waitrose, particularly as I don’t have one of their shops nearby. There aren't as many offers as I would like, certainly not as many as other retailers, so not so appealing as to use as a regular weekly shop. Still, now and again is a treat. I particularly like their Levantine range and would love for them to expand on this. Their transit storage & delivery has been very good up to now, with pleasant drivers happy to help. One area with room for improvement? I’ve sometimes struggled with their website crashing or developing a glitch. Anxiety provoking when one’s just spent a good hour loading up a virtual basket, and sometimes even at payment stage a crash leaves one hoping the payments not been taken twice! Yes, the website could definitely do with being less clunky. Overall though, Waitrose seems to be the best of the bunch of all those Ive tried.

Hard to get a slot, first on in weeks, however Tesco delivery each week - we shop at Waitrose Sudbury, we are currently housebound both my husband and myself and am disappointed that our normal shop could not service us in our time of need. My husband has been house bound for a year and a half and is attended by the District Nurses - - I have a hand infection and can’t drive as well as being in hospital for a week with this problem , yet until now we have not had that much of a service from our prime shop. In the early days we tried to phone and advise our position but your phones just gave out a recorded message before hanging up - not what we expect from Waitrose - very disappointing. Let’s hope you improve by the time I can drive again, a loyal customer badly let down by the shore she uses most.
