Missing some QoL features
Would be better if there was version designed for tablets.
It doesn’t sync lists across devices. I access the app across 4 different devices, iCloud syncing at a minimum should be available.
Poor app design
If you love endless drop down menus and pointless wasted clicks, this is the app for you. The user interface is horrendous, lacks necessary information and is probably the worst gameplay companion GW have released to date. It doesn’t even have the somewhat slick battle mode that the 40k app has to offer as respite from the endless selection menus. If you’re a new player or need quick reference during gameplay, you’re better off writing out your own reminders to save your opponent having to wait for you to click through 8-10 different views to find the info you need.
Really disappointed to find an app that’s basically a glorified calculator after all the “hype” from GW.
Menu Mini Game. ?
After redesigning the game for a more streamlined and accessible 4th edition they then release this… Some sort of drop down menu mini game. Want to find out what your manifestation’s ability was again nice and quickly, nope, 3 drop downs to see what it casts on and another 2 just to find out what it does. The only saving grace is that there aren't any tomes and your opponent will most likely be forced to play the same mini game. So you can both bond over a shared hatred of it instead of being frustrated with how long a game takes. Thats if you even manage to get to the table before gouging your eyes out with a spare sprue.
