Watch 4+

I’ve been using my 2 watches for a good few years without issue, but in the last few months both watches, a series 2 and a series 2 Nike, have both begun rebooting whilst on charge… both watches behave normally when off the charger, and I’ve tried another charger with the same results. I thought I’d cured it when I tried unpairing both watches from my current iPhone, and paired one with my old iPhone 6s, but that was short lived, as the next day it started rebooting again! I’m going back to a proper watch now, these so called ‘smartwatches’ aren’t designed to last..

Since the latest few updates that you targeted for series-8, my weather widget is broken, constantly crashing for 2-3 days then randomly works for some time then crashes again. Even turning off and then back on the watch did not help. Mine is a series 6 44mm A2376 with watchOS 9.1 (20S75). Other problems with weather widget: when you click on it to open, it does not load the weather just blank dial for all 3 (temp, cloud-rain indicators, and precipitation) screens. Then I usually go back to the main screen and then click on Weather again and further 5-10 seconds later it finally loads the numbers I wanted to see. Also notifications are conimg randomly to the watch from the iPhone12ProMax since these patches, so now they mostly arrive but NOT always when my phones receives them, and then all the notifications that were not displayed on the watch just randomly come all together like 6-10 hours later!! Even if I have read them previously on the phone. So my guess it the notification cache you broke. Also sometimes the notification appears for 1 second then disappears from the watch for good... I assume that happens when the notification module crashes. Can you please fix everything ASAP - everything as they were working before you added Series-8 features, so that my series-6 watch would start working again????? Thanks...

I love everything about my watch and this app, but I would like to be able to manually lock my watch whenever I want to, without so many features not working if I turn off wrist detection just to do this… if we can lock our phones whenever we want to but also have it lock automatically, why can’t we have our watch do that? If I’m wearing a stretchy watch strap then I can stretch it and it will no longer detect my wrist and then it will lock, but if my not wear the stretchy strap, I have to take it off just for it to lock… I want the lock button to be in the control panel even with wrist detection on… it’s forcing us to have our watch unlocked all the time and that is a huge con… that needs to be part of the next update. I want to choose when to lock it, and still have wrist detection on.

Other than that I’m really enjoy the watch and this app for the settings.
