When The Drummers of Burundi leapt into the first WOMAD festival in 1982, the audience were wowed. And year on year, WOMAD has continued to astonish and open the eyes of you, our enthusiastic audience. This year we invite you to celebrate our 40th anniversary with us and experience the brilliance of our world festival with the help of this app.

The scheduling is back! Plan your perfect festival experience with My Favourites, choosing from musicians to spoken word artists to explosions in the World of Physics, art and so much more.
New to our app this year is a live WOMAD shop where you can purchase some of the finest WOMAD merchandise and music on the app. And when it’s ready to collect, you’ll be sent a notification. Easy peasy.

Wish you could share schedules
The app works fine however there are a few annoying quirks.
I wish you could share a schedule that you’ve made to friends. Also the alternate view for the schedule is hard to read since you need to scroll vertically and horizontally on iPhone 6. Bad design easily fixed.
Make available online!
Great app for planning and research but when in the middle of a field with no access to data you are left a bit in the dark. It would be better if once the app is loaded onto your phone you could open and review the stored data without online access. I’m sure this used to be the case pre 2019 but in 2022 it was practically unusable. Hope this is fixed for 2023. Thanks.
