You are able to:
- View/change your delivery date
- View/update delivery delivery instructions
- Track progress of your parcel(s)
- View proof of delivery, upon delivery of your item

Terrible company used by Aldi.

Ordered 4 items from Aldi.
1st delivery I was given a time slot which I made sure I was available for only to see on this app that my item would be 3 hrs earlier than expected with only one minutes notice. The app said an email was sent to me saying it was a failed attempt at delivery (did not receive an email). 2nd delivery this time there was no notice of it being delivered. Then a notice that 3/4 items apparently were left at my house in a safe place…which turned out to be leant against my front door on a open drive way.
Wondering about my third item I tried to chase XDP up which is an absolute nightmare. I tried the online chat which was difficult to find with no operators available for 2 weeks ( not that they tell you this you just sit waiting for hours and nothing happens). I then went via their website and filled a form out with the details of my order and would like some contact as to where my last item is….no reply. Ive since contacted Aldi 3 times and they have had no response from XDP either….still waiting. Unfortunately if you’re buying from Aldi you are not able to choose what delivery service they use but if they use this company don’t waste any time and contact Aldi direct for them to sort out who have given me a £5 ONLINE ONLY voucher to use for being patient which was quite sadistic if any purchase is delivered via XDP.

Avoid this company & this App

I don’t normally write reviews, but in this case I feel compelled to let others know what a useless app and delivery service this is. The updates on the app are of no use whatsoever, as all you want to know as a customer is what day will this arrive so I can be there to receive it. Aldi said it would be By Tuesday, so my parents kindly sat at my house for 2 days, nothing arrived. All the app says is at depot, etc? Nothing Wednesday. Got an update Thursday morning saying it would arrive between 3:53 - 5:53pm. My parents sat there until 7pm nothing arrived. I could not track the driver either on the app, no one available to ask via the on line chat, so sat wondering if it would arrive? My parents stayed overnight just in case, but no delivery. However I did receive an email stating delivery had been attempted and calling card left and parcel would be returned to depot. Blatant lie. No one attempted a delivery or had the courtesy to phone!!! Only after I sent an email to Aldi telling them to take back the item due to such poor service, did I receive a text then a phone call from XDP, saying they could definitely deliver Saturday! Simply put I told them not to bother and Aldi have now lost a long standing customer! Avoid!!!

Very easy to use. Happy customer.

I was very dubious after reading so many negative reviews however I found the app really easy and simple to used. I’m received a tracking order number my text message and simply copied and pasted it over to the app. I ordered a chair from the range and XDP told me in an email that my item would arrive in multiple parts (I wouldn’t have known otherwise as they be never received any Communications from the range themselves) the smallest part arrived on at own without tracking however that wasn’t a problem. They let me pick a day for the biggest main parcel to arrive and nicely held onto it for two extra days for me without any problems and it was delivered on time. You can track your parcel and the drivers progress easily however I will say that I had to manually go in to the app to check all of this as the app itself never sent me any notifications even thou I have them all turned on. Not a huge issue but maybe something for the developer to look into in the future. The drivers themselves were very polite and helpful. Thankyou!
