In short, this 'app' enables you (the consignee) to manage, and track, parcels which are due to be delivered to you by the XDP freight logistics network.

I tried to download the XDP app and in the end my supplier had to help me. I received a text from XDP stating my delivery would be the next day (Tuesday) between 11:21 and 2:21. I waited in all day no delivery. App then let me choose the next day (Wednesday) again no delivery. I emailed them no reply. Tried to call them no answer. My supplier had to help me again. XDP blatantly lied and said they had tried to deliver both days but I was out (I wasn’t) they said they had left calling cards both days (they hadn’t) unless they sneaked past me when I blinked and I missed the large delivery van in my narrow street. In the end my delivery was Thursday. The delivery chap was lovely and apologised and when I asked him about the supposed 2 other attempted deliveries he said no way as he’s the only driver to deliver to my area! As others have stated this app is about as useful as a chocolate teapot, it has no tracking facilities and just constantly says ‘this consignment is out for delivery’ in my case 3 days running! So 3 days of my life wasted. I would never use a supplier again whose courier was XDP.

After reading all the reviews i thought id add a up to date one (of the app only). After having a text to install the app i was a little dubious after reading all other reviews. The app for me worked perfectly. It showed the order history of my items and once my items were out for delivery i was able to follow the order, track the driver and see how many drops were left before my items arrive (obviously this will not show before your items have been dispatched for delivery). Im still within the 2 hour time slot for my delivery to arrive so i can not comment on the delivery time but it looks to be on track. We did have a phone call yesterday to say our items would definitely be arriving today and all seems to be on track. Fingers crossed they all arrive in one piece.
Waste of time!
This app is pretty useless. I was advised to download it after receiving a text to say XDP had collected my order. Downloaded the app, put in my consignment order and postcode and all it tells me is the history of my order, that they have sent an SMS alert on whichever date and time it came and that’s it........
When I click on my order it takes me to a map that shows where my house is. There is nothing on there to enable me to see where the driver is or give any sort of indication as to what time the parcel is expected to arrive. The website states that I should be able to track the driver......well I don’t know where or how I do this as there is literally no option to do this anywhere.
It does give you the chance to input special instructions or change the date of delivery but it’s basic to say the least.
Can’t ring anyone to find out what’s happening, have left a special instruction asking for a rough delivery time so will see if anything is forthcoming.
Just not enough info and very basic.
