Top up for all prepaid and postpaid meter types (and soon including selected card-based meters via NFC and Bluetooth)
Our refreshed top-up process means that you can receive refunds faster should any transaction go wrong, and withdraw same refunds instantly to your mobile money wallet or bank account.

Surprised
I read all the reviews before downloading the app. I had little faith in its efficiency, however I’m back to say proudly that it works.
Instantaneously the meter was credited and the light came through.
I sent an email to understand an amount deducted from my payment, and the email was replied immediately with a sensible explanation.
For those who might have experienced the same thing, this is why I sent the email: I bought 10ghs with my app and I was credited 2.54ghs. I sent a complaint and received an email from ECG customer service with an explanation
“ Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for contacting ECG.
We apologize for the experience.
ECG usually deduct service charge for the first purchase or credit top-up made in every month.
The deduction could be your service charges depending on your consumption as a residential customer.
Kindly note that, if you consume 50units within a month you are charged GHS 2.13, and more than 50units you pay a service charge of GHS 7.46.”
For me I am impressed with the app and I will encourage all to patronize it. Good news is that by the end of the year all the meters will be enrolled to it. At least that’s what I heard the Veep said on air.

Disappointed
For almost a week now I’ve been trying to transact in this app but nothing is working. First, the app would not open at all, maybe because it was the old version and so I understand that one. But deleting and downloading the new one, I can’t add meter so I can purchase power. Failed to verify meter is the notification I keep getting almost a week now. Lodging a complaint via the app too is the same problem. I called ECG and to my surprise, they were also complaining. Where are the engineers and what are they doing? For an app which is so important and handy as this, a problem shouldn’t last this long and what it means is somebody is sitting idle and is being paid with the tax payers money. Please and please do something about this connectivity issues so we can use this to our satisfaction. T for thanks 🙏
SURPRISED TOO
I really can’t believe how a customer reviewed the usage of this app and confirmed it to us to be good. I paid my bill through this this app and it seems to be senseless. The meter balance still stands the same after payment when you want to check your current balance. Been to the district office at kasoa serval times and they keep telling me of internet network problems hindering them solve my problem
It could have been a convenient way for paying outstanding bills for we who are using the postpaid meters , which experience has proven that they are far better than the prepaid meters.
Please if you want us to use this new innovation, which would save the company lots of money in terms of bill distributions cost, rectify the problems.
