After first install, it is loading continuously, even remove and reinstall again. But we can see all the update promotions in the background.
Trying out this app as an alternative to carrying the exisiting member card in my wallet, and it turns out to be a bitter experience! Menu layout is self explanatory which has easily directed me to the registration page for exisiting members. However, this is the beginning of the frustration.
Form indicates date of birth is optional. However, when I try to submit without it, the app prompts me to input the date of birth for “Security Reasons”. So how is that optional? Or is this some kind of oxymoronic joke?
Fine, but after I inputted the date of birth, system tells me that my information does not match the system. Either I remembered my date of birth incorrectly or something is wrong with the system. I think the latter is more feasible. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I restarted the app and give it a second chance. Same outcome.
UPDATE: After contacting the support team of AEON Member, turned out that the person who entered my initial registration has made a typo on my name, hence the system wasn’t able to make the reference. Support team has then resolved my issue and I am able to use the app as designed.
A+ for the support team. A for the app. But D- for the person who entered my information to the database. Now I have one less card in my wallet!
Couldn’t proceed after payment
After paying by AEON credit card, after printing receipt at the print receipt screen, the done button does not respond, have to use menu to get back to main screen but the POS express items remained in the list, the payment is successful, but the app didn’t properly cleanup.
