Live Intercom is a team push-to-talk and live-event intercom built for production crews — live events, broadcast, theater, and multi-room coordination.
Each crew member signs in to their team's server, joins a live event, and gets a matrix of audio channels they can listen to, talk on, or push-to-talk on. Audio is delivered in real time over WebRTC for low-latency, reliable communication.
CHANNEL MODES
- Off: muted, no audio in or out
- Listen: hear the channel without transmitting
- Talk: hear and transmit with an always-on open mic
- PTT: hear and transmit only while holding the on-screen push-to-talk button
KEY FEATURES
- Multi-channel audio matrix so you can monitor several channels at once
- Push-to-talk and open-mic talk modes per channel
- Background audio: keep listening to the cue channel while your phone is locked or another app is in the foreground
- iPhone Action Button and Shortcuts support to trigger push-to-talk hands-free
- Bluetooth and AirPods support for routing call audio through your headset
- QR-code or email sign-in to your team's self-hosted server
BUILT FOR PRODUCTION TEAMS
Live Intercom is designed for the people running the show — stage managers, directors, talent, and crew who need to stay coordinated in real time. It is not a consumer messaging app and includes no ads and no user tracking.
A team server is required to use Live Intercom.
