Need to review the user experience on rewards button
I have a reward - a free drink - to redeem. I tapped the rewards button already and naturally one would think that this could redeem my free drink. However my money was deducted instead!! I didn't realise that until I left the store because at the moment when I was paying, the app wasn't refreshed instantly (it didn't say it deducted my money, it didn't say I used the reward either) so I just thought that there could be a time lag until the app would eventually be refreshed. This time lag creates a problem as well because I can't dispute this to the cashier immediately. I have left the store now. That's bad experience.
Amazing once you reset your password
Love the app. Only problem is that log in doesn't have facial nor fingerprint recognition. In a world where you have hundreds of accounts, you really shouldn't care about your coffee's app password or login info. Some may say "well the app has a remember me function" it doesn't work, as every time you update the app it logs you out. It's the most annoying problem when trying to order a coffee/pay for it... I stopped going to Starbucks cause I hate queuing for the coffee... The app would let me order before getting to the store, but having to reset my password every time I forget it... Just breaks the whole experience.
Imagine loging in to your game/mail apps every single time you open the it or update it... Not ideal right? Such a simple solution, yet nothing has been done since it was launched.
Page loads very slow. Waste my time
Every time I browse in the app it needs to load the page for quite a while. Its a waste of time to be honest. Why would I need to pre-order in the app while I can just go in the store and order at the counter with less time consumed than ordering in the app?
Also, the app is not able to find the store nearby. I need to see which store I m ordering from. And sometimes there are couple of stores next to me and I would wonder which store am I standing at. I would recommend showing the full address of the store at the door front so that people can easily locate the store!
