I loved using the app, especially with the concept of saving food waste and money.

But I got logged off by the system without a warning and all my payment details are gone, so I had to input it all in while I was on the go! It was annoying and I wish the log in details could stay

Because your orders can be randomly cancelled even though they are accepted and payment is done. It is rather ridiculous to see businesses explicitly breach contracts like that and fool users around. My order was cancelled a few hours later without any notifications. Not until I approached the CS did I know that my order was cancelled because the store has not got enough surplus (as what i was told). Come on, you only post offers if you know that surplus is likely! If you are not sure whether there is any surplus, you should not post offers at 10 am in the morning, promising users to get the food after 7:30 pm on the same day. I just feel disappointed by how they treat users and the carefree attitude of breaking promises

As you may know, our goal is to reduce food waste by offering surplus food to food heroes like you. However, sometimes there aren't enough leftovers to fill the surprise box, meaning no food was left over that day. We will check with our team regarding the cancellation notification to ensure it works as it should. Rest assured, when an order is canceled, your payment will be fully refunded.

Experience may vary but for some reason, the prices for the restaurants that I’ve seen aren’t really discounted by much. While there are certainly some discount, it feels disingenuous to mark up an item that usually only cost $44 to $80 then discount by 50% so that the cost becomes $40. While there is still a 10% discount, from a user perspective I feel that I would rather pay the 10% premium to get freshly prepared food rather than an item that’s been sitting on a shelf for half a day. The incentive or cost/benefit really does not justify the use of the app.
