You can use the new Simple app with your usual Simple account. When you log in to your account, you’ll find all the goods and products you bought with the old Simple (Classic) app: mobile tickets and passes, event tickets, vignettes, insurances you’ve taken out, and your purchase history.
You can use the new Simple app regardless of your bank: you can easily save bank cards issued by any bank and use them to pay for the services available via the application.
Services available in the renewed Simple app
Parking – payment of parking fees for public areas and indoor spaces countrywide:
- parking reservation and timing of expiry time,
- multiple vehicle registration numbers can be saved,
- warning on zone boundary,
- location-based reminders.
e-Vignette – purchase of Hungarian motorway vignettes:
- for up to several vehicles, timing of the start of validity for weekly and monthly e-vignettes
- electronic invoice available,
- warning of the date of expiry of the vignette.
Mobile ticket/BKK – buy public transport mobile tickets and passes countrywide:
- BKK passes and weekly and daily tickets, normal and time-based tickets
- Volánbusz intercity and local bus tickets and passes,
- tickets and passes from many other local operators.
Food ordering – order food with the app:
- in nearly 800 cities and towns across the country,
- from the full range of Falatozz.hu,
- delivery even to multiple addresses.
Vehicle assistance insurance (breakdown assistance):
- in cooperation with the insurance provider Groupama,
- for vehicles up to 15 years old.
Device insurance for mobile phones:
- in cooperation with the insurance provider Magyar Posta Biztosító
- against theft and breakage, not just for new devices
- with a monthly payment option.
QR code payment – pay for your online SimplePay purchases quickly and easily using Simple app.
Money orders – with new functions:
- save money orders for later payment,
- payment of partially filled money orders.
Loyalty card:
- save any barcode loyalty card in the app.
OTP SZÉP card check balance service.
OTP Health Fund – balance top-up.

Despite the name it is not simple at all, it cannot even show all my tickets in one place. The greatest issue however is that nearly every time I want to use the app I need to log in again despite having faceID on my phone.

The new version of the Simple app left me feeling extremely disappointed. Despite my high expectations, I encountered several issues that significantly impacted my user experience. It's disheartening to still encounter basic bugs in a supposedly updated version of the app. For instance, the lack of proper error messaging is a major flaw in today's standards. I often encountered vague errors like 'network error' or 'data error' without any clarification, leaving me frustrated and unable to troubleshoot effectively. Additionally, the app fails to load crucial information, such as the car list, without providing any error message, leaving me staring at a blank page.Moreover, discovering from Customer Service that parking cannot be started before the payment period begins is incredibly frustrating and counterintuitive.Overall, while I had hoped for significant improvements, my experience with the new version of the Simple app has been overwhelmingly negative. I urge the developers to address these issues promptly to enhance user satisfaction and usability.
Parking function is not working unfortunately

Usually the Simple app works just fine and it is quite trustworthy, but not this time. When trying to advance to the next user interface during the mobile parking process, I get an error dialog-box window saying that the request information is inadequate, even though there was no difference from before when it was working flawlessly. Please fix it, because this way the app’a parking function is nonfunctional.

New version includes many updates and improvements to boost user experience. Please update to the latest version for best performance.
