MOL Bubi is an environmentally friendly, fast and convenient mobility alternative in the city centre. Opt for the greenest means of public transport and use MOL Bubi!
Download the app, find a MOL Bubi bike at one of the 158 stations and you are ready to ride within a few seconds.
All this in the blink of an eye: once you have registered, you can choose the fare that best suits you, and then you will be able to read the news, give feedback, redeem a coupon or contact customer service directly.
Use the QR code scanner to pick up a bike or enter the 6-digit number seen on the rear of the bike or below the seat tube. The smart lock in the back will open with a loud click, and after the beep, you can start cycling. In the app, you can track how long you have been riding. When you are ready to finish cycling, just return the bike to any station and dock it into a free slot. Lock the bike by pressing down the lever on the smart lock until it clicks.

The new MOL Bubi application offers you everything you need to enjoy a ride by public bike in Budapest any time you wish. After registration, you can easily buy your monthly or annual MOL Bubi pass, then use the QR code scanner to pick up a bike. The optimised size of the app uses as little storage space on your phone as possible.

Pain in the * to have your card added
Hi, the app was great until the change of October. Now they manage to charge you by the minute but when you want to take a monthly subscription, they ask for your card again and again. And, of course, it's not linked correctly with the simple app: it does not open it automatically.
Easy to use, environment friendly
The Budapest Bike (BuBi) is a fast and cheap way to commute between home to work. It’s also a great way to explore Budapest as a tourist during your city trip. The app and service is easy in use when you follow the simple steps. Alapvetően jó
Két dolog:
1. ha lemerülőben van a telefonom, nem akarok qr kóddal szórakozni, ezért jó lenne közvetlen út a kódbeírós bérléshez.
2. esetleg egy rezgéses figyelmeztetés jó lenne 25p-nél, mert sok desztináció nem érhető el 30p-n belül. (De az sem ördögtől való, ha megemelik 40p-re a max úthosszt és a havidíjat. Egyszerűen nem akarom nézegetni, hogy kifutok-nem futok ki az időből.)
+1. ez nem app, hanem infrastruktúra: Párizsban am rengeteg védett bicikliút van, és 40%-kal megnövelte a nők részvételét a biciklizésben. Ahol Pesten nincs külön védett bicikliút, sokszor inkább a járdán megyek, az életem fontosabb, mint az esetleges bírság. (És sajnos az Árpád híd az off, mert ott a járda ahogy láttuk, életveszélyes) A körúton és az Andrássy-n meg ki lehetne pakolni a bicikliutat a parkoló autók túloldalára... és pár betontömbbel megvédeni.
A Dagályhoz, a Marina parthoz meg a Római parthoz kénének megállók, akár úgy is, ha feláras lenne, ha az ember nem bubival megy vissza. Gondolom egyre nagyobb gond a rebalance.
Hasonlóan a Bosnyákra is kéne állomás.
