Same mistake over & over!

Every burrito bowl is different yet the order I placed is the exact same each time. I’ve even started writing in the allergy notes to make sure they don’t forget guacamole & sour cream. This time, I didn’t leave a note, there’s hardly any guacamole and no sour cream. This may seem like a small issue but I honestly do not like eating your burritos without them. I can’t understand how it happens each time when it’s mentioned on the receipt. Your staff are not following correct procedures. I really love boojum but this keeps happening and there is absolutely no consistency in the burritos I’ve received. I’d recommend eating in the restaurant but the delivery orders are a big problem. It reminds me of Starbucks now, the first location opened and everyone was raving about it, but now, too many locations and the quality has begun to slide. I’m not ordering again because of this reason.

I’ve had two horrible experiences, so I have uninstalled the app and I honestly do not recommend it to anyone. First, the deliverer simply left my order in another house, which I was able to follow as I saw on the tracking page. I was not able to call him and he did not try to call me. Deliveroo’s solution: to give me my money back without giving me the chance to complain and without asking me for further information. Second, my order was being delivered by the restaurant and it was taking two hours without any updates. When I tried calling the restaurant I got a message saying they couldn’t answer. On deliveroo the restaurant was already closed. Customer support could only tell me that the order was active and that they couldn’t reach the restaurant and I should wait and if there was something wrong WHEN delivered I should contact them. Two hours we were waiting, on a Wednesday night, having to wake up early the next day. Deliveroo had the nerve to credit me with €3.81 for my inconvenience. Seriously?? My inconvenience is worth €3.81?? Apparently us being hungry and tired after a workday waiting so long for our food is just an inconvenience. There’s no accountability for our stress and and being extremely upset. I would not recommend anyone go through such experience. Use ubereats and justeat. You deserve better.

Do not order from Deliveroo. Accepted my food order took my payment and left my food sitting in the restaurant for a full hour! Had no available drivers when I contacted Deliveroo the first agent lied and said it had been picked up and was on the way. Got onto a second agent after some time and eventually onto a 3rd person who was senior management. I waited a total of 2 hours for my food to arrive. Myself and two small children looking forward to a take away and of course it was delivered freezing cold and hard/stale. The customer service I received was the worse I have ever dealt with. Refused to send me a full refund and my delivery went into the bin. They insulted me with a partial refund and tried to charge me almost €8 for one can o coke because the can was still ok to drink. I am absolutely furious after been shown so little respect as a customer. Also kept changing the estimated delivery time. A two hour delivery from a restaurant 10 minutes away. The restaurant were very apologetic but it was not their fault only Deliveroo. If they were fast enough to get someone to collect your order as they were to take you money things would be great!! Also two hours to come up with a partial refund as an apology. An absolute INSULT! Never again ordering from them second time this has happened.
