Daniels fantastic tour of Paris sights !

We had made the decision to do this before a bus tour which we usually to give ourselves an overall view of a city . After out experience with Daniel we did not need the bus tour as he helped us see so many hidden gems that we went back to see again . He is such a pleasant person and accommodates all ages on his walk . It is a pleasure to walk and talk with him . He paced his tour perfectly as the day was very warm . At the end of the tour he answered our queries for the rest of our holiday . I would recommend his trip to anyone visiting Paris . Caroline Ahern
Unreliable due to cancellation risk

Used the app to book a room in London well in advance. The owner cancelled the booking 48 hours before the trip. Rebooked another room among a limited last minute supply only for that to be cancelled as well. Air BnB offered a €15 coupon but ended up spending €100 more than originally as chose a hotel, which is much more expensive when booked the day before arrival but couldn’t risk another cancellation. At least hotels are guaranteed. Air BnB didn’t advise what they would do if there was zero availability in the chosen area.
New experiences

As a newcomer to Airbnb hosting, but not to guesting, I must say that the experiences are all good, so far anyway. Having retired from running a small but busy retail operation, I found this was the perfect outlet for my underutilized “talents”. I get a kick out of interacting with guests from all over the world. I get to keep as busy as I like to be while the income from the investment, both in time and financial rewards, beats the miserly interest offered by the banking moguls. I see it as a win win situation. Undoubtedly there may be hiccups along the way, but hey, such is life.John
