My go to app for finding hikes and also so handy in the premium version as even when your reception goes you have the map and GPS still tells you your location. The reviews are handy to find out nuances like car parking and the photos give you a better impression of what it’s going to like. Also the filter feature that lets you include things like ‘dog friendly’ is brill! One feature suggestion I would give, is to include gear list for different hikes and different times of year (eg winter/boots and water proofs and certain distances require food etc) as that would prob save people lots of hassle! Overall fab app!!

This is what I was missing to make planning my hiking routes. You can plan your hike, search by distance, difficulty, hikes closest to you, and by reviews. It’s so handy to be able to pick the route, and download the route so you don’t need a signal to follow. You can then leave reviews for other users to see before they decide on their next hike. Amazing and easy use too!
Disappointing

Very disappointed with the premium version of the app. On a multi day hike, I can’t find a way to add stops for the night and so see distance or elevation for only one section, it doesn’t allow you to search locations or show restaurants or accommodation along the way. It required struggling to identify features on difficult to compare maps from one app to another, with no way to search. It also didn’t allow me to flip a hike in the other direction from the one it was entered in, so all the steps were backwards. For me the free version would have given me everything I needed. I hope the app improves, or I can find a more flexible and intuitive alternative.
