Absolutely love thrift shopping and this app allows it to be done so easily. Only discovered it 5 days ago and already made several purchases. Unfortunately 2 separate items from two different sellers have not gone so smoothly through the apps fault. One order didn’t fit correctly and the item was returned easily to the seller, but the app hasn’t recognised that the post has been returned back to the seller and I haven’t received my money back. The seller has to write personally to the costumer care to sort this issue. Additionally, I have purchased from a lovely girl and I’m delighted with the product received, but cannot make a positive review because vinted hasn’t recognised not recognised the item has been delivered. Apart from the technical issue between a post and vinted, I find the app extremely good.
Missing major feature

I am a avid user of vinted. I have spent hundreds and made many purchases over the past year or so. I am located in the Republic of Ireland and because so I have access to the french vinted market. I purchase frequently from such sellers and I am often recommended items of French origins. For the past while I have been trying to purchase a few specific small items. No more than a few euro. I have unfortunately been unable to buy any of the wanted items as there is too many ads for them. I am unable to filter out French ads and because of this I am unable to make a reasonable purchase. I do not want to have to spend more than double the items worth in shipping due to the fact that I cannot just find one of Irish origin. If I was to simply be able to filter which country the item is shipped from I would of been able to make multiple more past purchases. I am aware that maybe some of these items may not be being by any Irish sellers but when it comes to items that have hundreds if not thousands of ads it is near impossible to find the ones coming from Ireland. I would be much more inclined to purchase from vinted if a simple location filter function was implemented. I am aware this is possible due to your very detailed filter system already implemented. Thank you. Please consider my complaint. Ps. Other than this major functional flaw the vinted app would of received a 5 star review from me.
Great concept, highly flawed.

Loved Vinted when i downloaded it and signed up first. Sold a lot of stuff i needed to get rid of and ended up buying a lot too. However lately I have not been having a a good time on it. I have been sold 2 counterfeit JBL speakers from French sellers which I promptly returned and got a refund. I educated myself on how to spot counterfeits and found multiple other fakes which I reported to Vinted. They refused to act and told me the items did not violate their community standards. So they are facilitating the sale of counterfeits despite it being in Vinteds rules that they do not permit the sale of counterfeit goods. Also since then I have had 3 parcels go missing in the post from again, French sellers. To be fair Vinted did refund me, but I wanted those items, they are now in Limbo somewhere or have been stolen by the French postal service. If Vinted would only allow you to filter your search to only include Irish sellers it would cut all this out. I have never had a problem with my fellow Irish sellers. I refuse to buy any other items from French sellers, but you cannot identify where the seller is unless you go in to the items details and look up the seller from there. This is incredibly tedious and is ruining what could be a a great app / site.
Buyer biased platform
Gg1994x
Absolutely terrible platform to sell on. As a seller who has sold many items over the year, it has become evident to me that some buyers are abusing the Vinted return policy, by reporting a issue when they receive the item, Vinted have always sided with the buyer and no matter the evidence you provide, they will not even consider it. I had an incident where the buyer claimed my item was not authentic, so I attached a screenshot of the invoice aswell as the items serial numbers to prove the items match. This took 9 days for Vinted to look at and in the end they said the receipt/invoice is not enough evidence to prove the authenticity of the item and of course the buyer received a full refund and was not needed to return the item. This is a common scam on Vinted. Be aware that someone can claim your item is not authentic, and since you may not have the receipt, as it was purchased a long time ago, you will have no choice or say in the process. And since Vinted’s unfair, buyer biased policy outlines that “non authentic items do not need to be returned to the seller” the buyer is left with free products. Stick with selling locally or on eBay, where cases are properly investigated. And to add the Vinted support team appear to be uneducated. I honestly don’t know what it is they even do, because not once have they done their job accordingly, it’s as if they are working while on some prohibited substance.
We’ve improved performance and fixed bugs to make selling and scoring second-hand easier than ever.
