Takt helps you track and understand your own cycle. Takt is not a medical device and not a contraceptive method. It displays your own entries and provides informational estimates only — it does not diagnose, does not give medical advice, and is not a substitute for consulting a healthcare professional.
Most menstrual cycle and period trackers guess from a calendar average — ovulation on day 14, done. Takt works from your body instead: your basal body temperature and cervical mucus, cross-checked against each other, not assumed from a date.
HOW TAKT WORKS
CONFIRM — Your ovulation is confirmed after the fact: a real temperature rise across six lower readings, plus a mucus peak as a second sign. Two signs, cross-checked — never a guess in advance.
LEARN — Takt learns your own cycle length, period length and luteal phase from your own entries — not a textbook 28-day average.
NARROW THE WINDOW — Your prediction window narrows the longer you track: wide in the first few cycles, tighter once your pattern shows. No invented date, just an honest window.
FIND PATTERNS — Takt finds patterns in your own symptoms over time, and only calls one out once there's enough evidence — never after a single cycle.
COMING OFF THE PILL, OR AN IRREGULAR CYCLE
After stopping birth control, a cycle can take months to settle. If your period is irregular, Takt won't force it into a 28-day box — you see your shortest and longest length and how it changes over several cycles. A wide window is the honest answer, not an excuse.
A REPORT YOUR DOCTOR CAN ACTUALLY READ
Takt builds a cycle report as a PDF: history, key figures and your temperature chart, in the format doctors are used to seeing. Generated on your phone, shared only if you choose to.
ONLY ON YOUR PHONE
No account, no sign-up, no server. Your entries are encrypted on your device — Takt has no way to send them anywhere, offline by design, not just by policy. Dark, calm, no loud colors: nobody can tell what you're tracking by glancing at your phone.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
Do I need an account? No. No sign-up, no email address.
Does Takt work without a thermometer? Yes. Your calendar and predictions run either way — only the ovulation confirmation needs a temperature reading.
Can I use Takt for birth control? No. Takt doesn't tell you which days are "safe."
Does Takt show my fertile window? Yes — as a window with its evidence level, and a confirmed ovulation afterwards from your own temperature and mucus. Takt doesn't log ovulation-test strips yet.
WHAT TAKT ISN'T
Takt is not a form of contraception and doesn't name safe days. Takt doesn't diagnose anything and doesn't replace a conversation with your doctor. There's no pregnancy mode, no ovulation-test logging, and no dedicated menopause program.
FREE TRIAL AND SUBSCRIPTION
Your first month is free. After that, Takt is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly (better value per month) — the exact price for your country and currency is shown before you subscribe. Your history stays visible and exportable even without an active subscription. Payment is charged to your store account at purchase; the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your account settings.
