Decent News App but needs Home button
Overall a fairly decent news app focusing on Ireland news, and easy to navigate between categories including weather forecasts.
However it needs a Home button at the top of the App. The reason being is that you can advance to the top 5 news stories at the end of each news article, but you can only get back to the home page by flipping back through each news article you’ve read.
A bit of a rookie error really for the app developers.
Prove you are not a robot!?
I really like this app even though it has some bugs I still use it for my news fix, but I tried to create an account and was blocked by a ‘prove you’re not a robot’ command that I couldn’t find a solution to. I may find the solution if I dig deeper but I use this app because I’m busy so I would expect the solution to be next to the command. I have to keep telling it where I live for weather etc unless I can create the account 🤷♀️
One small problem...
I like the new look of the app and it’s easy to navigate however I was disappointed that the update didn’t fix a problem I’ve been having for quite a while now. If I click into an image, I can’t go back to the story but instead have to close down and reopen the app. So many of the images are worth a closer look but it is quite tiresome to have to continually shut down and reopen.
I’m using the most up to date version of iOS.
