New app update

Had to update the app recently on my phone just to get my boarding pass. I travel with the airline twice monthly.
I felt like a criminal taking mugshots of myself. Eyes closed, open, smile, non smile, left side, right side, electronic signature and photo of my ID. Why?
It was so difficult to get the shots you wanted inside the green box on the screen as if even one corner of the box is red the photo is not accepted. I almost missed the flight. I was the last person to board and your dutiful little employee made me put my carry on bag in that metal frame and because one corner stuck our she charged me €47.
I truly resent Ryan Air when they engage in these practices. So now I’m flying Aer Lingus again. I’d rather pay more than be subjected to your ever changing money making practices and cramped seats.

I prefer aer Lingus. Ryan air has so much to learn

I have travelled with Ryan air and still do sometimes, but I prefer aer Lingus. Why? Because I have been caught trying to board a Ryan air plane at Birmingham airport holding a baby in one arm, I piece of hand baggage, a two year old boy, a nappy bag and a double buggy and then being left by Ryan air to navigate getting myself and all that down the 2 flights of wobbly exterior metal steps to the runway - and on a windy day to boot. No help from Ryan air staff to get into the seats with the kids and put luggage overhead. I’ve had flights cancelled or changed by a full day. I’ve paid a whopping 240 euro for a single London flight and still been auto-allocated the worst seat in the middle at the very back of the plane. I’ve had dirty food tables etc etc. never with aer Lingus who provide the best customer service around and in fact when traveling with a baby from Belfast to Amsterdam easy jet couldn’t do enough and put 2 passengers happily into exit seats to “give me room to work with”. I didn’t ask - it was an excellent service. Worst of all, I have seen those on crutches in a player cast and elderly gentlemen in wheelchairs left last to board, with no appropriate seat organized fir them. Ryan air has so much to learn. And yet I begrudgingly travel with them if the better airlines do not go to my destination or if work has bought the cheaper flight for me for business.

The worst airline and service

The app is ok. Ryanair is in theory cheap airline, but if you’re traveling with personal one small backpack. If you willing to travel with more bags or want to sit next to your relatives you’ll pay more. Infant rate is 25 EUR one way (and your baby is sitting on your lap). We’re traveling a lot and this is the first airline, which is charging for I can’t ticket…. Moreover we experience very humiliating and unpleasant situation at Pisa airport. The lady while bordo g was super rude and kick us off the line - my with the baby - because only my husband had bought another bag (and priority apparently). They don’t care if you’re traveling with baby under 2 or with other special assistance relatives. All passengers were disgusted with her behaviour - one more time - this kind of service is just making us stop flying with this airline. I would rather pay a little bit more (because when you sum up all cost tighter it’s not a big difference) and fly next time with the real airline. Less stress and I’ll avoid this kind of embarrassing situations. Which this approach to its Clients I’m not sure if they’ll ever be removed from the top of the worst airline list!
