Ratings and Reviews
Poor Service
Not sure why it’s so difficult to check in using my email address not accepting fingerprint or passwords very frustrating when it’s all preloaded. Also I can’t see my passport number 😡
Obviously I forgot to send the below review 🤪
As a frequent flyer with Ryan I have noticed over the course of 2019 that,
Hygiene, some of the crew are wearing discoloured whites and poor fitting uniforms. The seat trays are on occasion dirty and the rear seats by the side of window seat are often filthy. I would love to have a microbiologist do some swabs. Toilets are also filthy.
Food, I have been on two recent flights where there was no food. Well they had 5 Panini on the last flight and a couple of snacks .
Delays, In recent months there have been delays almost every flight.
Price, prices to Dublin have become a joke, you charge whatever you want and it’s getting more expensive 2020 prices are off the wall. I used to be so defensive of Ryanair and now I find myself not only agreeing with criticism but also becoming one.
I could go on but it will get me no where!
I prefer aer Lingus. Ryan air has so much to learn
I have travelled with Ryan air and still do sometimes, but I prefer aer Lingus. Why? Because I have been caught trying to board a Ryan air plane at Birmingham airport holding a baby in one arm, I piece of hand baggage, a two year old boy, a nappy bag and a double buggy and then being left by Ryan air to navigate getting myself and all that down the 2 flights of wobbly exterior metal steps to the runway - and on a windy day to boot. No help from Ryan air staff to get into the seats with the kids and put luggage overhead. I’ve had flights cancelled or changed by a full day. I’ve paid a whopping 240 euro for a single London flight and still been auto-allocated the worst seat in the middle at the very back of the plane. I’ve had dirty food tables etc etc. never with aer Lingus who provide the best customer service around and in fact when traveling with a baby from Belfast to Amsterdam easy jet couldn’t do enough and put 2 passengers happily into exit seats to “give me room to work with”. I didn’t ask - it was an excellent service. Worst of all, I have seen those on crutches in a player cast and elderly gentlemen in wheelchairs left last to board, with no appropriate seat organized fir them. Ryan air has so much to learn. And yet I begrudgingly travel with them if the better airlines do not go to my destination or if work has bought the cheaper flight for me for business.
The worst airline and service
The app is ok. Ryanair is in theory cheap airline, but if you’re traveling with personal one small backpack. If you willing to travel with more bags or want to sit next to your relatives you’ll pay more. Infant rate is 25 EUR one way (and your baby is sitting on your lap). We’re traveling a lot and this is the first airline, which is charging for I can’t ticket…. Moreover we experience very humiliating and unpleasant situation at Pisa airport. The lady while bordo g was super rude and kick us off the line - my with the baby - because only my husband had bought another bag (and priority apparently). They don’t care if you’re traveling with baby under 2 or with other special assistance relatives. All passengers were disgusted with her behaviour - one more time - this kind of service is just making us stop flying with this airline. I would rather pay a little bit more (because when you sum up all cost tighter it’s not a big difference) and fly next time with the real airline. Less stress and I’ll avoid this kind of embarrassing situations. Which this approach to its Clients I’m not sure if they’ll ever be removed from the top of the worst airline list!
