3.6.0 06/02/2020

3.5.4 17/10/2019
• When moving to a new iPhone and restoring from an iTunes backup, push notifications might have stopped working properly in Studybugs. We’ve fixed that now.

• If you report your child is ill with asthma, you can now help the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and Brighton and Sussex Medical School improve treatment of asthma by answering four short (and optional!) questions. All answers passed on anonymously. See https://everychildisdifferent.org/inspire for background.
3.3 19/05/2017
3.2
• You can now send any kind of message (not just absence reports!) to your children’s schools and receive replies and instant notifications via the app.
• Schools will soon be able to use Studybugs to send out things like newsletters and announcements. In advance of this, we’ve added a page where you can toggle notifications on or off by category, so you don’t get overloaded.
• We’ve also fixed a few obscure errors which have been reported (sorry!) and made various small usability improvements.
3.2 12/04/2017
• You can now report absence for any school in the UK, and we’ll make sure they get the message.
• There’s now a big green tick after reporting absence to make it even easier to see we’ve got your message (there’s also a big red cross when something’s gone wrong… but of course you’ll never see that).
• We’ve made it simpler to register by removing the 'repeat password' field. After all, no one likes repeating themselves, and you can always use the 'forgot password' option if you forget, right?
3.1 21/06/2016
Studybugs is the new name for Sickly! You’ll see our new name and logo now throughout the app.
Also in this release:
• Fixed: Sometimes you’d go back to view a message you’d sent and find it had been cut short. Although the full message had been sent, you’d’ve been forgiven for thinking otherwise. Now your full messages reliably appear in all their glory.
• Fixed: When searching for your child’s school we now always show the town, so there’s no doubt about exactly which St Peter’s Primary you’re looking at.
• Numerous other usability improvements which we hope you’ll like, or better still not even notice.
3.0 04/04/2016
We’ve redesigned and simplified the app and added free instant messaging:
• Receive instant messages from your children’s schools
• Send instant replies free of charge
• New main screen helps keep your conversations organised
After updating, please open the Sickly app and enable push notifications when prompted.
2.0 31/05/2015
• Now you can edit your details and your children’s details via the app
• School search improved to handle the growing list of schools on Sickly
1.4 30/12/2014
