Virgin TV Anywhere includes access to the most watched channels so your favourite shows, most popular series and our extensive On Demand movie library are all here. You can also review the TV guide, see what’s on and set recordings.
As part of the out of home service, some channels require you to register your preferred viewing devices. If this is required a message will appear on screen and all you have to do is follow the simple instructions. You can register two devices in total and you can change one of your preferred devices once a calendar month if you wish.
This App is free of charge. To be able to use the app with all its functionalities, you need to be a Virgin Media Digital TV customer in Ireland. A My Virgin Media account is required to log in.

Very good overall
I’ve used this app for a few weeks and have very few problems with it, it’s easy to use and overall is a very polished app.
The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was that sometimes when casting live TV to my chrome cast, if I don’t leave the app open and my device screen on it will disconnect with an error.
It also sometimes does not record that I started watching an episode of a show in the app, e.g if I start episode 3 and watch a few minutes, i went back to it a few hours later and was suggesting that I continue watching the end of episode 2.

This is rubbish
This app is so unreliable it’s hardly Worley has using. If you think you can watch your paid subscription on your connected devices, then prepare to be disappointed 50% of the time. Between ‘Service unavailable at this time’ to spinning wheels, I’m about to give up on this service. Every time I get an issue with this app I check to see how Netflix is doing, and it works every time. Virgin, be more like Netflix please!!
The most frustrating thing is that I use it to catch the end of shows in bed that I was watching on my main TV. Why would I do that, so I can snooze to sleep real quick. This app forces me back to my front room to to do. That’s hardly cutting edge!!
If there was a zero star option I would have given it, this doesn’t even deserve the 1 star I was forced to give it.
I switched devices to watch the news on my phone, then when I went back the next day to watch something on my iPad, it had told me that the maximum devices have been registered for the month, and that I have “used all device changes for this month” so I cannot amend this and go back to my iPad until the 1st if September?? This is a joke!! ...plus I was never told I couldn’t go back to using another device... this is frustrating and turns me off Virgin. Was pretty satisfied with them up until this, but considering cancelling my account now.
What’s the point when I have Netflix and NowTV whenever, wherever I want?
