Growing so perfectly!

I've been using Pepper for the past two years I think, and I must say it makes everything so much easier especially for students.
Employees are super nice and responsive, there's almost everything you need in the app plus really entertaining articles, they give you an informative overview on how you spent your money every month, they are constantly developing and looking for new and better ways to make the experience of using their app much more pleasant and comfortable, they actually listen to the customer's need and take them into consideration.
I must say the app isn't perfect but it surely is perfectly growing.

Good try, but far from replacing a full fledge bank

I’ve been using my pepper account and credit card for more than a year.

Registering is fairly easy, I had no trouble. And most basic features are fine. But anything different you need to chat with the staff. Well, but one small detail, the chat feature have been broken for several months. You can see your previous conversations, but you can’t create a new one. Anything you write goes to a closed conversation so nobody ever answers.

I have tried to e-mail them about it, no answers.

So I called them, well, they claim to be a modern bank but the most basic feature of calling you back is missing so you have to wait more than 10 minutes to talk to someone. Bank staff are very nice and I managed to get what I needed, but they said they will forward my complaint about the chat to the tech team several weeks ago and nobody answered me.

I also fail to understand the reasoning why not to have a webapp we can use from the desktop.

Well, this is not going to be my main bank, can’t trust them with my salary right now.

If it wasn’t free there would be no motivation to keep giving them a chance.

Hope it will improve soon, the Israeli market needs a better bank.

Update: After I lost my phone and had to reinstall the app, messages started to work, so I gave 3 stars. Still, some questions remain unanswered, like how to get a simple credit card extract (transactions report) other than screenshots from the app.

This is the best bank I have been to, they come back to you straight away and do not let you wait. As soon as there is a problem in the account they call and say straight. In my old bank I called for more than three weeks for a credit card and did not get it, That within a week they would come back to me and not come back to me
