  • Worst service. RedBus do not have coordination with their bus operators.

    RedBus is the worst bus ticket booking service ever. They do not have any coordination with their bus operators. I booked a ticket on 31st May 2022 with redBus and then bus was delayed by 5 hours so I had to cancelled the ticket because it wasn’t possible for me to wait that many hours at boarding point which was fairly 5kms away from my home and in rural area and the bus would be arriving at night time because of the delay otherwise it would have been afternoon. I cancelled my ticket by calling redBus and was told to wait for 48 hours for refund. RedBus tried calling bus operator at the same time but they were not picking up the call. I was told to wait for 48 hours and given option of full refund and cancellation of the ticket or still travel with the bus and I will be given 15% refund for the delay. I chose full refund with cancellation of the ticket. Today is 9th June 2022, 10th day of those 48 hours. As of today, I have been given 48 hours wait option 3 times already and 24 hours option 2 times, there are no signs of refund and now I am getting new information on every call with them like my ticket was never cancelled and you should speak to the bus operator etc. I am not sure at this point that I will be getting my money back so I thought of writing this review to alarm other users of this service.

    I’ve generally had great experiences using redBus app and have always found it convenient. However, I recently had a very distressing experience that made me question the safety measures provided by both the bus operators and the app itself. On a recent trip, as a woman traveling alone, I was waiting for a VEGA bus that was delayed by 30 minutes, according to the operator's update. Unfortunately, the delay extended to an hour, and then, at 11 PM, I received a message that the bus had been canceled last minute. The bus operator switched off their phone, leaving me stranded in an unfamiliar town with no way to travel back to my home, as there were no buses available that late. This situation was extremely unsafe, especially for women, and I felt helpless. It was also disappointing to find that the app did not provide any option to leave feedback or a rating for the bus operator since I didn’t actually take the journey. I strongly suggest that the app includes an option for users to leave reviews based on booking and cancellation experiences, even if the trip didn’t take place. This would allow others to be aware of unreliable operators and improve overall user safety. Overall, I hope this app improves its safety measures, particularly for solo travelers, and ensures better accountability from bus operators. Thank you.

  • Useless Customer service

    I just trying to resolve my issue from last 7 days everytime they are saying will solve in 2 days but till now they even don’t know what to do . I am using redBus from more then 4 years , last week I booked my bus to Delhi the bus operator called me and said bus was canceled , I have to come so I took the another bus from red bus !! Now they [red bus executives] are saying you don’t have proof operator called you so refund can’t be initiate , now this is not matter of money this is matter of what is right what is wrong. Many of us not check for refund its come back or not after the cancellation we trust the company in my scenario I never check for refund but operator told me many time money will back and I did not received any msg from red bus about cancellation so it looked suspicious so I talked to red bus executive on same day What I have to do they are trying to proof me lier they are not taking any action against the operator who is playing this game Everytime when I called to them I have to explain everything to them again and again because everytime there is different person(customer care executive ) every call about 25-30 min and everytime they give me 48 hours it’s end less cycle I have limited resource a normal guy who is working 10-7 if I have resource I must take legal action against them they will know !!

    I booked a “Primo” REDBUS which they say is safe , on time ,etc. 1) It was 30 minutes late in departure. 2) The bus no. was different from the one mentioned in the app and informed to me via sms. So it couldn’t be tracked as they advertise. 3) Just 5 minutes into the journey, the bus stopped at a petrol pump for refuelling which wasted another 15 minutes. 4) 30 minutes into the journey they made us change the bus, so all the travellers had to shift their belongings to the new bus. 5) All these unprofessional things, and at about halfway, the bus broke down. 6) I waited for more than an hour but they didn’t say anything. They were trying to repair it. Getting late, I had to do my own cab to the destination. 7) When I called Customer Support, they said that refund can be done if delays are of two hours or more, the bus operator is not initiating refunds, etc. I even said that you can refund half the amount. But somehow they think that if a person is paying for an AC bus then he should atleast waste two hours so that they know the bus is really late. Due to this unprofessional behaviour by this so-called best app. I would give zero stars. But One is the minimum. POOREST Customer Support of the things going on in our country.

    Worst Experience with Redbus - Travel Delayed and Canceled Without Proper Compensation I had the most frustrating experience with Redbus recently. I booked a round trip from Bangalore to Thodupuzha, and the outbound bus was delayed by 4 hours, only to be cancelled later. While they initiated a refund for the cancelled trip, the bigger problem is that I also had a return ticket booked, and due to this delay and cancellation, I couldn’t catch my return bus. The worst part? I had a visa interview scheduled for 10:30 AM in Bangalore, and because of Redbus’s failure, I missed it. Now I need to reschedule, and it will cost me around ₹10,000. The next available appointment is after 5 working days, which adds to my stress and increases the chance of visa refusal. I also had booked a hotel room worth ₹3,000, which I couldn’t use due to the cancellation. This entire experience has been a massive financial and emotional burden. Redbus, your poor service has cost me time, money, and potentially my future plans. I expect full refunds for both the cancelled and unused return tickets, and compensation for the additional expenses I incurred. My time and money are valuable, and this kind of service is completely unacceptable. Never trusting Redbus again.

  • Such a pathetic app and it’s interface

    I was using this app since long but today when i booked tickets because i had an emergency i felt it is such a pathetic app it’s interface is really third class and i and give 100 marks for it’s developers for making it. So the problem started here, when i was trying to book ticket for indore in the timing section it is not showing any kind of clear details whether it is AM or PM, i selected the date and selected the seats for 3rd jan assuming it is in the afternoon i.e PM and moved to checkout, even in the checkout window it is nowhere mentioned whether it is am or pm, then too i made a payment and my ticket got confirmed. Suddenly i get a call from bus operator during mid of the night around 3 am that the bus will reach on time and i was shocked. Surely i cannot board the bus at that time because i was 100 km away from that destination and i was about to reach the boarding destination at afternoon. Now as per policy i cannot cancel the ticket and not even change the dates. If it is bus operator policy then redbus team u are the mediator you should help your customers. My whole 2000 bucks gone for nothing. I am 100% sure I would not recommend this app to anyone
