CAR KEY*
An iPhone and Apple Watch feature that lets you unlock and start your car with a digital car key stored in the Wallet app.
STUDENT ID*
Add your student ID card to Wallet, and use it to access places like your halls, the library and campus events. Or pay for washing, snacks and dinners around campus at participating universities.
HOME KEY*
Add home keys to Wallet on iPhone and Apple Watch, then simply tap to unlock a compatible door lock for seamless access to your home or flat.
HOTEL KEY*
Add your hotel key in Wallet after making your reservation, use it to check in so you can skip the lobby, and use your iPhone and Apple Watch to tap to unlock and access your room.
OFFICE KEY*
Add your employee badge/ID to Wallet and then use your iPhone and Apple Watch to unlock doors and other access locations where your corporate badge is accepted.

Add your favourite coffee shop or chemist’s rewards cards to Wallet, so you never miss out on all the rewards and benefits.
BOARDING PASSES & EVENT TICKETS*

Issues when handling flight tickets
I had 2 issues.
One issue is, adhocly the “add to wallet” button is inactive for some travellers on the itinerary. So if there are 5 travellers, I often can add 2 or 3 tickets to the wallet but not the remaining. The airline claims this is an issue with the wallet.
The second issue is a flight is severely delayed, particularly if departure ends up being after the scheduled arrival time, then the tickets disappear from the wallet - which can lead to annoying situations where you might be trying to present the boarding pass, but I suddenly have to search for it in my email.
Flawless experience
The app works great and its so quick and easy to use. Once a pass is added to wallet you just need to tap on the screen to open it without unlocking your phone. Unfortunately, many companies don’t work on supporting Apple wallet features shame on then missing out this excellent product. Those giving out poor reviews are just idiots defaming without proper knowledge. Its not Apple who’s is to blame its this stupid country and the companies here who don’t develop & innovate their products/services.

Good but can be better
There is no denying the fact that wallet is as secure and as functional as it gets. However I sincerely wish that it supported many more services than what it does. For example it would be great to have documents out of DigiLocker (India) and store them they way some states in the US are allowing it. It would definitely be handy to have the digital vaccination certificates issued in India to be made available on wallet. Would save a lot of hassle. Wish apple realises the potential and ties up with authorities in India as well to ensure that there is a wide acceptance and usage in this emerging market.
