Can be much better

The policies on which Avis operates are good. Their operating model is also very customer friendly. However the services rendered through this application are very backdated and basic.
Pre-Booking processes:
To know if the documents are verified one - Call Customer Care.
To be sure that there are no rejections and that the car will be delivered - Call Customer Care.

Post-Completion of Trip:
In case you want to deliver the car before the scheduled time - Call Customer Service (or keep note of the local Avis team).
There is no update on money refund process.
There is no confirmation of the post-pickup technical checks. So, the money refund process is not transparent to the customer. May lead to arguments/issues.

In this age, this app. is not interactive.

Worst experience! I regret choosing AVIS!

Worst experience! I regret choosing AVIS!
The front grill of the car was broken before I started my trip but the chauffeur refused to believe it. I had asked my friend to record the video of the car as there were already few scratches and dents while i was completing the paperwork that is required to be done before the chauffeur hands over the car. The broken grill can be clearly seen in the video along with me completing the paperwork.
In spite of sharing the video to both chauffeur and the company, they are reluctant to believe this and deducted money from the security deposit I had paid.
It has been more the 72 hours since I have asked for clarification on mail but haven’t received it, Whereas, the auto-generated email received as the acknowledge receipt of my mails says their team will revert within 4 hours. Why commit such things when you can’t deliver?
Their so called 24X7 customer care number is also useless as the calls go unanswered most of the time and it gets automatically disconnected after 4-5 minutes of waiting. The customer care executive do not even callback after assuring one!
Seems like they are discovering new ways to loot the customers and their casualty against emails prove this.
This type of customer service and casual approach is certainly not expected from AVIS!
Again, I regret choosing AVIS over other self driven car providers!

Unforgettable Journey to Leh

I have booked self drive car from Delhi for 12 days. Innova crysta it was.. they handed over me car on delhi airport itself without any extra charges.. whereas other self dive car have separate terrifs for airport booking.. that really impressed me.. the condition of car is as good as new.. neat and very clean..few minutes of paper work and we are good to go.. we have completed 12 days journey to Leh Ladakh successfully without any hassles..as car is well maintained and in proper condition it was happy journey through all terrains..
