I’ve been a Cleartrip user for several years so was really upset by my recent experience. I booked a 5 pm flight, paid a higher fare for an option that would permit a change. I then called customer support to reschedule the flight to later. I was sent a payment link of Rs 450 for the change. The change did not reflect on my booking. I was told wait 24 hours you will receive a confirmation. I had spent 40 mins on this call. The next day, since the change was still not reflected I called again. This time I was told the change was not done and my money would be returned. The day before the flight when I tried to check in the airline website showed the new flight at 8 pm. The app still showed the earlier 5 pm flight. My family who was joining me had now been booked on the 5 pm flight. Called customer support again, this time 2 hours on the call speaking with Umesh and then his supervisor. Nothing can be done they said, you were verbally informed that the change had been done. There was absolutely no acknowledgement that the app still showed the wrong flight and that in refunding my money they had acknowledged that the flight was unchanged. Am disgusted with their lack of ownership or any desire to provide an alternative. Will not be using Cleartrip again. They clearly can’t be trusted to even own up to their mistake. My app even now shows the wrong flight!

I downloaded Cleartrip thinking its owned by a reputed company “flipkart” what could go wrong, boy was I wrong! I booked a flight from Delhi to Bangalore in May of 2023 of Goair/ Gofirst airlines, at a point where it had not filed bankruptcy, anyways I booked the flight a month prior because it was comparatively cheaper. Only to find later that the company is bankrupt and not offering flights. My specific flight was cancelled BY Cleartrip at the day of flight itself, with a promise of full refund which I have yet to receive even after 1 and a half years of waiting. I have had multiple I mean multiple conversations with the customer care only to come to a conclusion that the company that has filed for bankruptcy is responsible and shall provide the refund through an official court process! The first few times I accepted their excuses, but then I demanded they take responsibility, when refund payment exceeded their pre posed deadline, for the refund as they had posted the opening for the flight status knowing ahead of time that the flights were not available. No! They just passed on the blame, and promised multiple times that my refund is in process and my issues have been highlighted in their system and blah blah blah! Im sick and tired now. I NEED MY MONEY BACK WITH THE INTEREST OF INFLATION + MARKET + SUFFERING CAUSED. Its not about the amount, it’s about justice + suffering caused! I STRONGLY recommend anyone and everyone to not use this application, be mindful. If this can happen to me, it can happen to you.

This app/portal is not well-regarded in the hotel industry. I made a reservation for the 4th of October at the Ruturaj Regency Dhule (a three-star property), but they simply refused to give me a room because I booked through this website (cleartrip). After reserving through the internet, I called the hotel to see if they had received the booking, as I am traveling with my parents. However, the hotel merely stated that they had received the booking but had rejected it and told Cleartrip of this. I have not received any correspondence from Cleartrip. And their customer care crew (Komal)is so poor that every time they take 2 hours to reply and when I phone them, they simply say, "Sorry, we can't do anything because of a site glitch; we can only refund the amount." All the rooms are booked now in similar properties in that area and few are available but for those prices are now on the higher side(almost double), and at the last movement , where am I supposed to take my senior citizen parents. Do not fall into the trap of cheap prices. It’s better to book room and flight from other competitors at little higher price. I would have simply given 0 stars but that option is not available. #uninstalling this app.
