Description
DIRGHAYU Mobile App can be used by Central Civil Pensioners for accessing their data related to pension payment and revision along with Special Seal Authority.
Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO) is providing various services to stake Pensioners through its Mobile App. CPAO has developed a DIRGHAYU Pensioners Mobile App for use of pensioners for availing various services.
Pensioners/ Family Pensioners can register on the DIRGHAYU Mobile APP by providing PPO number, Date of Birth & Date of Retirement/Date of Death (in case of Family pensioner).
This Mobile App provides the following features:-
• Facility to view the Pensioner Profile
• Digital record of Pension & Revision Orders
• Download facility of pension/Revision orders sent to banks
• Tracking status of pension processing
• Facility for obtaining feedback of pensioners
• Monthly details of pension payments
• Registration of Help Request and status check
Features of APP :-
• Navigation
One can navigate all important details like Basic Pension, Number of Revisions that have taken place till date, Number of help request registered and last amount paid to pensioner.
• Last 24 Payments / Transactions Details
Display last 24 payment/Transaction details if available for particular pensioner
• List of SSAs issued
Display list of all SSAs issued for particular pensioner. User can download any available SSA from this section in .pdf format.
• List of Registered Help Requests
Enable pensioner to view all Help request registered till date and also check their status.

The application intended for senior citizens ?
It is found to be difficult to register as application does not identify the PPO number itself. Unless it is user friendly, pensioners may find it difficult to make use of it.
Worst and Useless
I am a retired Senior Scientific Officer from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai with around 36 years spotless, honesty, highly motivated and dedicated worker. I have never seen this type Worst Facility developed around 10 years ago. It will not allow to Register our account. There is no provision to create a new account for joining in this Application. Not accepting PPO number at all. Our PPO Number is Four digit. This Application is demanding Twelve Digits PPO Number. To the best of my knowledge I don't know whether 12 digits PPO Number exists for Retired Employees. Whoever may be developed this Application, it is useless, worthless and waste Application. If you wanted to improve it to kindly do it. Otherwise permanently REMOVE this Application. It is creating a lot more trouble to Senior Citizens of the country. Any Application should be user friendly , simple and helpful. Then only it has some reputation. I don't want to see this third category type Application for huge number of respected Retired Employees.
