Superb Application
A superb in built application by Google helping in organising the storage space with better options of segregation with gmail, google drive etc. Loved the flow as well easy to use. Thank you Google a very big 👍👍👍 for this Application.
Google One Family sharing is unreliable
I have been using the premium 2TB version of Google One for more than a year now.
A couple of months back the auto-debit on my credit card had failed and my iPhone photos stopped backing up. Luckily I noticed it and fixed the issue. Google needs to alert the user more effectively, in case the back up stops due to payment failure.
Second, I have added a Family member for sharing the storage for saving their photos to Google Photos. However, upon opening their Photos app on their iPhone, they found a warning saying photos had stopped syncing months ago, and they needed to purchase a plan. After poking around in their app for a few minutes, the backup kicked-in and reflected the correct shared storage space.
This is not a good demonstration of reliability. Apparently one needs to visit the Google photos app frequently just to check if things are in order.
Subject: Urgent Assistance Needed for Cloud Storage Subscription Payment Issue
I've been grappling with a persistent payment issue regarding my cloud storage subscription for an agonizing two-month stretch. The source of this predicament lies in the fact that my previous payment method, a credit card, has gracefully expired. My attempt to rectify this by adding a new credit card has led to a vexing roadblock - the one-penny authentication process is futile because the "Verify" link simply refuses to cooperate, proving unresponsive across all the browsers I've tried.
Frustratingly, my efforts to resolve this matter have extended to reaching out to Google support, only to be met with an alarming void of assistance. It's disheartening to find that while Google's suite of applications is generally lauded for its quality, the same cannot be said for their customer support, which leaves users like me grappling with unresolved grievances and a sense of helplessness.
In light of this persistent issue, could you please provide some guidance or assistance in resolving this matter? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
