BlueLink is an application for customers who subscribe to Hyundai Motors connected car service.
Use our blueLink app to control the car remotely and check your Hyundai vehicle status.
※ Customers can use Hyundai app service after purchasing blueLink-applied Hyundai vehicles.
[Main Features]
1. Remote control
You can use remote start/ door lock/unlock etc.
※ Precondition
- For the customer’s safety, the function will not operate when a customer is driving or deemed to be on the vehicle (ex> the vehicle is not locked by smart key or the shift lever position is not P).
2. Check vehicle status
- You can check the vehicle’s status.
3. Send destination
- Based on the HERE map, you can search for a destination on the app and send the retrieved destination information to the vehicle.
4. Find my car
- you can keep track of your Hyundai—even if you’re not driving it. The Find My Car feature offers you to check a vehicle's parked position on the app.
※ Precondition
- For privacy reasons, vehicle can be tracked when it is located within 3KM from a customer.
- If the vehicle or your location is indoors, you will not be able to receive normal service due to incorrect location information.

- You can view your account information and change your personal information on the app.

Ratings and Reviews
No remote engine or climate control available on app for manual variants.
Researched and found that earlier you could remotely start your manual hyundai car using the bluelink app provided your gear knob is neutral and hand brake applied to its highest setting. However, in the 2024 i20 nline N8 MT, no climate or engine remote options are available.
Assuming this review reaches the bluelink team, requesting you folks to please let us have those features back. As a consumer I feel its a safe enough feature to be made available.
Unrefined and unreliable system
Hyundai is simply ripping off customer’s money for a service that is half-baked
1. In past, it showed trips made in Delhi while the car has never left Eastern India - when I rechecked for the same trip a couple of days later, they simply removed trips made at that time
2. App suddenly stopped allowing me to login after almost one-year of on and off service - executive said my email ID had a typo in their back end and the only solution they offered was to recreate the account and lose all past data!
3. Today, I opened the app to check for a past trip and found that it has no data for the last one and half months - sure they will have an excuse and a promise after requiring me to put a significant amount of time to resolve the issue
It’s as if you are paying for a service that you have to constantly spend time on to get fixed. Not to mention Hyundai pathetically fails to improve this system that fails without warnings, they put all their efforts to list excuses instead of developing a functional system. hope this helps others avoid such a misery.
Connectivity Issues with Apple CarPlay
I am experiencing frequent connectivity issues with Apple CarPlay in my Hyundai Alcazar Petrol 2.0 (Full Option). Despite both the firmware on my iPhone 14 Pro and the vehicle’s head unit being fully up to date, CarPlay often fails to connect. I have used multiple Apple-certified Lightning cables, suspecting the issue might be cable-related, but this has not resolved the problem. I have also performed several factory resets on both the iPhone and the head unit, but the issue persists. On the rare occasions that CarPlay does connect, there are instances where the audio fails to play through the music system.
