ICICI Bank Ltd. has revamped the Money2India interface to enhance customer experience. The new mobile application has improved UI and a host of features new features and improved customer communications. Customers can set biometric login, PIN based login, repeat previous or favorite transactions seamlessly. Customers can track the status of their money transfer request on the mobile app. These features aim to make the platform more customer friendly, enhance the ease of transactions for NRIs looking to transfer money to India.

Rates given incorrect

They booked me for a rate lower than the agreed rate at the time of completion of transaction. When asked why was I credited lower amount , ICICI replied saying they gave me an indicative rate inspite of choosing fixed rate. Basically , they just agreed to the fact that app has glitches and half the days of the week the customer doesn’t know how will he get in his bank account !!! Cons of app -1) app keeps crashing 2) rates given are always indicative - you always get a rate lower than what you see on the screen 3) they lure you in with high or better rates first but charge back end taxes so effectively rates are much lower than other exchange houses.

Worst app to start with the review..Till date, it asks for password every time you open the app. Enable face recognition or fingerprint just like icicibank app. How difficult is this? In between transaction, app crashes and you will see lower rates when you start again.

Honestly, this is the most trusted and easiest app I’ve used to send money from the US to India. Once you’re done with the registration and documentation, everything is super smooth. If you get express enabled, it gets even easier! Trust me, this app makes life so much simpler for sending money back home.
